The New and upcoming HAF 700 Evo from Coller master is a beast of a case, but so is its price. The case itself is still not released but as sources say it will be soon, well at least we hope so. The price will be around $500 which is a little on the expensive side of things but the features it is bringing are very impressive.

HAF 700 EVO Size and its advantages

HAF stands for High Airflow and with this case, you are going to get it but first let us talk about other characteristics of the case. Firstly case is ATX full tower, pretty big going 24.64 x 11.45. x 26.22 inches in size but like all full tower cases it can hold all motherboard types including Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, E-ATX. The large case size also lets you place a pretty big GPU, going to 19.29 inches (490 mm) in its length covering currently all available Graphic cards on market.

Being a very big computer case is not just placing motherboard and big GPU, there are other great advantages of it, firstly that you can go wild with your CPU cooler, going all the way to 6.5 inches in cooler height will satisfy all users and having 12x 2.5 or 3.5-inch internal bays will. And if even that is not enough you have 8 expansion slots available.

Inside HAF 700 EVO

Inside the casing you will also find 2 front fans with 200mm diameter, 2 rear fans sized 120mm, and 1 bottom fan of 120mm. You can also manually mount standard 120mm fans on top of the case for maximum airflow.

Front panel and outsides

The front side is filled with 4x USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A (5 Gbps), 1X USB Type-C (up to 10Gbps), 3.5mm both headphone and audio jack along with a reset switch. Also, the circle in the very front is a hi-resolution LCD customizable display, you know, just to add more flavor and personal touch to the case. Fron is also filled with glass panels emitting RGB light.

Of course, you must also have a Tempered Glass Side Panel and well weight of 53.57 pounds (24.3 kg), yup you read that correctly, beside its hefty price tag this cooler master beast also is pretty heavy. Granted all of the weight comes from the glass front panel it is still a little hard on moving and taking out of the box.

This is also the case where you will not need a single screwdriver, everything is made to be assembled with your hands alone pushing easy assembly into the front row.

Conclusion

So in the end what are my thoughts about this expensive and heavy PC case? Would I recommend it? The answer to that question could depend really on your budget, let us be really honest here if you can afford it, YES, wholeheartedly I would recommend the case, it is great, it feels great, it looks great and the airflow is amazing. However, if you are tight on a budget, there are other great cases with excellent airflow and you might want to skip this one.

The bad side is that client itself relies on email services to provide cloud-based emails, so if you are receiving your email via a service that does not have a cloud-based service in itself all of your received emails will be locked to the computer where you have received them. Also customizing it can be sometimes a little too technical for the average computer user. All in all, Thunderbird is one great eMail client and it would be a shame not to use it because of its technical side, if you need a reliable and secure eMail client on a single machine, look no further than Thunderbird.

The downside of this client is the yearly subscription plan. I think people, in general, want to get away from software subscription plans so I will include this as a downside but bear in mind it is downside just in terms of a business plan not in the client itself.

It uses AI along with machine learning in order to block all types of phishing attacks that can get through to other clients. The proprietary machine learning technology can literally read an email to determine if it has phishing content, and then is able to quarantine the email or deliver it with the malicious links disabled. It also takes things a step further and offers an analytics dashboard, which allows an administrator to see patterns of attacks based on dates, or targeted users. What is DownloadAdmin/ Updateadmin?

As a digital creation of Blueis, the DownloadAdmin application peruses your computer system for programs/applications that are outdated. This program then makes the necessary updates/installation on your computer, as if it were the Administrator. While most people might consider this application harmful, scrutinizing the Digital Publisher/Creator of the application should be reason enough to remove DownloadAdmin (and any other associated program) from your computer. For this assessment, the DownloadAdmin file was obtained and installed on a test computer. After the DownloadAdmin/Updateadmin application was installed, it made several modifications to the computer system. These modifications may class the newly installed file as a PUP (potentially unwanted program). Outlined below is what took place after the file was installed.

• Updated an outdated application installed on the computer

Subsequent to the update made by Updateadmin, I thought the PUP had run its course. However, it was not quite finished. In addition to updating the Internet Browser, DownloadAmin also installed the SearchProtect toolbar (Conduit). This toolbar is no stranger to the market as I’ve encountered it on several occasions during my assessment of malware.

Should you remove DownloadAmin?

That decision is totally yours to make. However, here are some reasons why most people would consider that program unwanted

• It updates your outdated programs

In most cases, at least those I’ve seen, if a user has a program installed, they don’t necessarily want a new version of that program. Option 1 – Delete the settings of the Driver Verifier Manager

• Open the Driver Verifier Manager using the Start search.
• After that, select or click on the “Delete existing settings” option and then click on Finish.
• Reboot your computer and see if it fixes the Blue Screen error or not.

Option 2 – Try to update or rollback your Network driver

If you have updated the driver software as of late and you suddenly got this BSOD error, you might have to roll back the device driver – in other words, switch back to the previous working version. To do that, follow these steps:

• Tap the Win + R keys to launch the Run window and then type in the “msc” command and hit Enter to open the Device Manager window.
• Under the Device Manager, you will see a list of drivers. From there, look for the Network Adapters and expand it.
• From the list of Network Drivers, look for “Realtek <Model> Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC” and then right-click on it and select Update Driver.
• Restart your PC and see if it helped in fixing the BSOD error.

Note: If you see any of the following entries under the Network drivers, you might want to download their latest available versions from each one of their manufacturer’s websites.

• Realtek High-Definition (HD) Audio Driver
• Realtek Card Reader Driver
• Realtek Local Area Network (LAN) Driver

On the other hand, if updating the Network driver didn’t help, you can also try to roll back to its previous version.

• Open the Device Manager again and then look for Network Drivers.
• Next, select Realtek <Model> Wireless LAN 802.11n PCI-E NIC from the list of Network Drivers and then double click to open a new mini window.
• After that, make sure that you’re on the Driver tab and if you are not, just navigate to it then click the Roll Back Driver button to switch back to the previous version of the Realtek driver.
• Now restart your computer to successfully apply the changes made.

Option 3 – Try running the ChkDsk utility

You can also run the ChkDsk utility to fix the SPECIAL_POOL_DETECTED_MEMORY_CORRUPTION Blue Screen error.

• First, open This PC and right-click on your operating system partition for Windows.
• Next, click on Properties and navigate to the Tools tab.
• Then click on Check under the Error Checking section.
• After that, a new mini window will be opened and from there click on Scan drive and let it scan your disk drive partition for any errors and then restart your computer.

Option 4 – Use the Windows Memory Diagnostics

Since the problem has something to do with the physical RAM, you need to use Windows Memory Diagnostics. To run it, refer to these steps:

• Tap the Win + R keys to open Run and type exe and hit Enter to open the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool.
• After that, it will give two options such as:
  • Restart now and check for problems (Recommended)
  • Check for problems the next time I start my computer
• Once your computer has restarted, perform a basic scan or you could also go for the “Advanced” options such as “Test mix” or “Pass count”. Simply tap the F10 key to start the test.

Note: After you select the option, your PC will restart and check for memory-based issues. If it finds any issues, it will automatically fix them.

Option 5 – Run the Blue Screen Troubleshooter

The Blue Screen troubleshooter is a built-in tool in Windows 10 that helps users in fixing BSOD errors like SPECIAL_POOL_DETECTED_MEMORY_CORRUPTION. It can be found in the Settings Troubleshooters page. To use it, refer to these steps:

• Tap the Win + I keys to open the Settings panel.
• Then go to Update & Security > Troubleshoot.
• From there, look for the option called “Blue Screen” on your right-hand side and then click the “Run the troubleshooter” button to run the Blue Screen Troubleshooter and then follow the next on-screen options. Note that you might have to boot your PC into Safe Mode.

Step_4: Once done, double click on the “DisableAbsoluteVolume” DWORD and set its value from 0 to 1. Step_5: Now exit the Registry Editor and restart your computer. • If you want to enable the Absolute Volume feature, just execute this command: reg add HKLMSYSTEMControlSet001ControlBluetoothAudioAVRCPCT /v DisableAbsoluteVolume /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

After you execute the command, just restart your computer.

Once you’re done executing the given instructions above, you have to right-click on the speaker icon located in the system tray and select Open Sound Settings and click on Manage device settings – the same controls will be visible to you like earlier. Now when you change the volume level for one speaker, the other speaker should now remain as it is and won’t change alongside the speaker.
