I do not know about you, but I prefer to set my Windows to be more to my liking and not how Microsoft thinks it should be. Let’s face it, not all users feel comfortable whit Microsoft settings and idea how things should be.
One of the things I particularly did not like even in Windows 10 is icons that come by default on my taskbar, now so far, well until the latest Windows 11 update you could remove default taskbar icons the same way as in Windows 10, just right-click on them and unpin, sadly with latest update build on Windows 11 this option has been removed.
In order to remove default icons from the taskbar, one must go now to Windows 11 settings and choose from there which one you would like to be placed on it. Of course, this is nothing game-breaking but it still feels strange why the standard option has been removed, it just makes no sense but lately not many things that come from Microsoft do.

If you have multiple products with Windows on them, Copy & Paste text between them is easy as 1,2,3 and we will be happy to tell you how can you do it.
Hello and welcome everyone, today we will see how can we share text information between 2 devices using Windows 10 in instant. In order for you to be able to share text information between devices, there are two prerequisites that you must meet. The first is that all devices must be connected to the internet, the second is that you must have a Microsoft account.
If you have both of these things continue with the tutorial, if you do not have a Microsoft account go to Microsoft website and create one for free.
Also, know that this option needs to be turned ON on all devices in order to work. So steps we will explain will have to be done on each device, if you already have some device logged in and connected to Microsoft account, you can skip setting it up.

Then click on System.
Once you are in the system, on the left tabs find and click on Clipboard. If you are not logged in to your Microsoft account do so on the right panel by locating Sync across devices and click on sign in.
When you are signed in click on the option to turn it on.
One option is turned ON, you will be greeted with two choices, to copy everything from the clipboard automatically or to choose text which you want to sync and paste it with ⊞ WINDOWS + V. Choose whatever better suits your needs, and you are done.
Repeat these steps for other devices and you are done.
Dism.exe error 1392 is usually displayed whenever a file or directory is corrupted, and unreadable. The location specified in the error message states that some temporary files are corrupt. Since the files are only temporary, you could delete the mentioned file in the error message and check if the issue persists. The error is caused by missing system files or broken corrupt data, which should be fixed as soon as possible. Taking action should prevent further hardware and app damage, as this can lead to system crashes, data loss, or hardware failure in most cases.
Temporarily disable the antivirus program
Antivirus applications are well known that they can detect certain things as false positives and quarantine them or cut their system access, to make sure that this is not the case in this situation, disable your antivirus and try the operation again.
Perform an SFC scan

Click on Command prompt (admin)
In the command prompt window type: chkdsk /f c: where c: is hard drive with issue and press ENTER
Scan your computer for malware
Malware and other malicious software can be a problem for this type of behavior, run your security's software scan on the whole system and remove any found malware.
Perform a system restore
If anything else failed run system restore and bring Windows back to a date when everything was working fine.
If you open any program in your Windows 10 PC such as Outlook and suddenly get an error message saying, “Failed to register a VB Script dll. Reinstall or run Regsvr32.exe Vbscript.dll to self-register”, read on, as this post will guide you on what you can do to fix it. The obvious solution to this problem is by re-registering the “vbscript.dll” file on your computer.
Refer to the instructions given below to re-register the VB Script DLL file and to fix the error.
Step 1: Open the Command Prompt as an administrator from the WinX Menu.
Step 2: After opening Command Prompt, type in the following command and tap Enter on your keyboard.
regsvr32.exe vbscript.dll
Step 3: Once you enter the command, it will re-register the VB Script DLL file using the Windows OS tool called Regsvr32 or regsvr32.exe. This tool is a command-line utility used to register and unregister OLE controls such as DLL and ActiveX (OCX) controls in the Windows environment. After the execution of the command, you should see the following pop-up on your screen which means the re-registering of the concerned DLL file has succeeded.
On the other hand, if re-registering the DLL file didn’t work, then you can try logging in using an administrator account and then register the DLL file again or you could also use the System File Checker to figure out what the problem really is and automatically fix it.
System File Checker or SFC is a built-in command utility that helps in restoring corrupted files as well as missing files. It replaces bad and corrupted system files with good system files. To run the SFC command, follow the steps given below.
Tap Win + R to launch Run.
Type in cmd in the field and tap Enter.

Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
Changing Taskbar location in your Windows 10 is an easy task but lately, Microsoft has removed the option to just drag it to one side of the screen and place it there, now in order to change location we need to do a little more work but do not worry it is not difficult at all.
Right-click on the taskbar to open its properties menuin the menu, on the bottom choose taskbar settings. Once the settings dialog opens, on the right side locate the taskbar location on screen.
Click on the dropdown menu and choose the desired location for the taskbar.
DirectX function GetDeviceRemovedReason error is a DirectX error that comes up during playing games on Windows 11 operating system. Usually, the error occurs in gaming systems powered by AMD and very rarely if any times at all on Nvidia or intel platforms.
If you are one of the gamers affected by this error, fear not because we have a solution for you. Follow provided fix guide in order to correct this error and get back to gaming asap.
1. Update drivers
The first thing of course is to update your graphic card driver, you can do this with your graphic cards panel software or directly in Windows itself but the best practice and one that I would recommend is to go to your graphic card manufacturer’s website and download the latest driver there, and then install it inside Windows 11.
2. Change power mode
Changing power mode inside Windows 11 can solve this issue since sometimes Windows power manager if it is set to anything except best performance can interfere with the proper functioning of the graphic adapter, and because of this error. To change the power setting do the following:
Press ⊞ WINDOWS + I to open settings
Click on the System tab
Select power & battery on the right part
Click on the menu beside power mode
Select the best performance
3. Run SFC scan
Corrupted system files can also cause this error and if previous steps have not resolved it we will use Windows built-in tool SFC scan to find and repair all bad files in windows.
Press ⊞ WINDOWS + S to open the search menu
Type in Windows terminal and run it as administrator
If prompted click on YES on UAC
Press CTRL + SHIFT + 2 to run command prompt
Type in sfc /scannow and press ENTER
Wait for the whole process to finish and then reboot your system
4. Reinstall the problematic game
Sometimes game files can get corrupt and maybe even overwritten, try with game reinstallation if the problem still persists.
Windows users need to be on high alert. Microsoft has confirmed a critical vulnerability has been found in all versions of Windows which presents an immediate threat, and you need to act now.
A critical new zero-day hack has been found which affects all Windows versions.
Tracked as CVE-2021-34484, the “zero-day” flaw enables hackers to breach all versions of Windows (including Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server 2022) and take control of your computer.
Microsoft mistakenly thought it had patched the vulnerability (which was first found in August) when it was publicly disclosed in October. But the fix itself was found to be flawed, something the company admitted, and this drew even more attention to the vulnerability. Microsoft subsequently promised to “take appropriate action to keep customers protected” but two weeks later, a new fix has still not arrived.
Luckily the third-party security specialist 0patch has beaten Microsoft to the punch with a ‘micropatch that it has now made available for all Windows users “Micropatches for this vulnerability will be free until Microsoft has issued an official fix," 0patch confirmed.
You will need to register for a 0patch account and install its download agent before the fix can be applied, but with 0patch fast becoming a go-to destination for hot fixes which beat software companies to the punch this is a no brainer. Hopes will be high that Microsoft can release an effective patch sooner rather than later but, until then, all Windows users must act now if they want to be safe.

A couple of Windows 10 users have reported an error on domain-connected systems when they tried accessing their computer systems remotely. This occurs when the network level authentication or NLA is enabled on the computer. If you are one of these users, you better keep reading as this post will guide you on how you can fix this error. To resolve this issue, there are several workarounds you can try. You can either disable this option directly via properties or you can also modify some registry entries or sub-keys and restart the system.
When you encounter this problem, an error message pops up that states:
“The remote computer that you are trying to connect to requires network level authentication (NLA), but your windows domain controller cannot be contacted to perform NLA. If you are an administrator on the remote computer, you can disable NLA by using the options on the Remote tab of the System Properties dialog box.”
Or you could also see this error message instead:
“The remote computer requires Network Level Authentication, which your computer does not support. For assistance, contact your system administrator or technical support.”
Before you proceed in troubleshooting the problem using the options provided below, you need to create a backup for your data or system restore point as well as make a copy of any registry entries you are going to modify.
Option 1 – Disable Network Level Authentication via Properties
The NLA is a useful tool that provides your computer with extra security and helps network administrators in controlling who can log into the system with just a click of a single box. However, there are times when it can become a disadvantage and could prevent you from accessing your system remotely. Thus, you need to disable it using Properties.
Tap the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
After that, type in “sysdm.cpl” and tap Enter to open System Properties.
Next, go to the remote tab and uncheck the checkbox for the “Allow connections only from computers running Remote Desktop with Network Level Authentication (recommended)” option.
Now click the Apply button to save the changes made and exit System Properties and then try logging into the remote computer again and see if the problem is fixed or not.
Option 2 – Disable NLA via Registry Editor
Note that you can only use this option if the first one didn’t work for you. Take note that this option will require you to restart your PC completely which could mean some downtime if your computer is running a production server. So make sure to save all your work.
Tap the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog box and then type in “Regedit” in the field and tap Enter to open the Registry Editor.
From there, click on File > Connect Network Registry and input the details of the remote computer and then try to connect.
Navigate to the path below after you’re connected:
HKLM >SYSTEM > CurrentControlSet > Control >Terminal Server > WinStations > RDP-Tcp
After that, change the values given below to “0”
SecurityLayer
UserAuthentication
The navigate to PowerShell and execute this command – restart-computer
Option 3 – Disable NLA via PowerShell
PowerShell allows you to tap into the remote computer and once you’ve targeted the machine, you can execute the commands given below to disable NLA.
Tap the Win + S to open Search and then type in “PowerShell” in the field. Right-click on the related result and select the “Run as administrator” option.
After opening PowerShell, execute the command below:
Once in the PowerShell, execute the following command:
$TargetMachine = “Target-Machine-Name”(Get-WmiObject -class “Win32_TSGeneralSetting” -Namespace rootcimv2terminalservices -ComputerName $TargetMachine -Filter “TerminalName=’RDP-tcp'”).SetUserAuthenticationRequired(0)
Note: In the command given, the “Target-Machine-Name” is the name of the machine you are targeting.
Option 4 – Use the Group Policy Editor to disable NLA
Another option you can use to disable NLA is via the Group Policy Editor. This is ideal for you if you are blanket disabling. Just take note that the Group Policy Editor is a powerful tool and that if you make some mistakes by changing values you have no clue about, you can render your computer useless so make sure that you create a backup for all the values before you proceed.
Tap the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
Then type in “gpedit.msc” and tap Enter to open the Group Policy Editor.
From there, go to this path – Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Remote Desktop Services > Remote Desktop Session Host > Security
After that, search for “Require user authentication for remote connections by using Network Level Authentication” and set it to disabled.
Windows updates have become a regular occurrence in our digital lives. They are frequent and have become quite necessary. Most of the time they bring us quality content like fixed security, resolved bugs, and even new features but from time to time update itself can be not downloaded properly or it can have some issues when installing. Windows Update Error 0x800F0825 is one of these update errors that will be reported seemingly after applying the update.
Altho annoying error it is nothing system breaking and can be easily resolved.
Hello and welcome everyone, today we will provide you with solutions on how to resolve error 0x800F0825 when trying to complete a Windows update.
Run Windows troubleshooter
Built-in Windows troubleshooter can help a lot in resolving these issues and we will try it as a first solution because of its simplicity and ease of use.
Click on START
Click on settings
Navigate to Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional Troubleshooter > Windows Update
Click on Run the troubleshooter
Follow onscreen instructions and let the troubleshooter try to solve the issue
Clear contents of SoftwareDistribution & Catroot2 folders
Altho SoftwareDistribution and Catroot2 folders are essential for the update process it can happen that badly downloaded updates or similar corruption can be stored there and thus producing this error.
Open file explorer and locate these two folders, go inside and delete content inside them
Try updating again to see if corruption inside folders was the issue.
Update manually
If the previous two solutions have not produced a result and the error is still present then go to the official Microsoft Update Catalog and download the update manually
The catalog is here.
Search for updates from the Windows Update Catalog In the Search box, type your search terms. You can carry out a full-text search, using a keyword, KB article, MSRC bulletin, driver manufacturer, driver model, driver version, product, and a classification. Select the appropriate version of Windows. Search or click on Advanced Search if you want to refine your search. A list will be displayed. Select the updates that you want to download. Click Add for each selection to add it to the download basket.
Download the updates. You may be asked to install an Active-X download control to be able to download files from this site
Double-click on the downloaded updates to install them
Administrators can download updates from the Microsoft Download Center or the Windows Update Catalog to deploy to multiple computersIf you are running Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) 3.0, System Center Essentials (SCE), or System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) you can import updates directly into these applications. Security updates, critical updates, service packs, update rollups, definition updates, and critical drivers can be configured to synchronize with your server automatically. You can still import these updates into your application by using Microsoft Update Catalog; however, depending on how you configure WSUS, SCE, and SCCM, you may not need to import the updates.
Disable system protection
In some rare cases, antivirus or firewall could interfere with both downloads and execution of certain files. If each previous solution failed disable temporarily your security software and try executing the update again.
We tend to move and copy tons of files on our PCs and mostly, the process of copying or moving files, especially if the file has the size of 1GB or up, tends to take quite long. This may be caused by some issues which is why you face slow copy or move speed. So if you are experiencing this issue on your Windows 10 computer, then read on as this post will give you a couple of solutions you can try to increase the speed in copying or moving files. Follow the given instructions below.
Option 1 – Try to change the USB port
You might want to change the USB port since modern computers have a variety of USB ports. So if your USB drive supports USB 3.0 or 3.1, make sure that you plug it inside a USB 3.0 or 3.1 ports. If you’re not sure which port, just keep in mind that the USB 3 port is usually blue or you can also use your computer’s documentation or manual as a reference to locate it. It may sound nothing but changing the USB port can actually improve the copying or moving speeds drastically so this should be the first thing you can try to speed up the process of copying or moving files.
Option 2 – Update the USB Controller Drivers
First, click the Start button and type “device manager”.
Then click on the “Device Manager” from the search results to open it.
From there, look for the “Universal Serial Bus controllers” option and then right-click on each one of the USB drivers and select the Update Driver from the menu.
Restart your PC and then click the “Search automatically for updated driver software” option.
You also have the option to update the motherboard and the USB driver from the manufacturer’s official website.
Option 3 – Check for any hard disk errors
On your desktop, right-click on the “This PC” or computer icon and then select Manage to open the Disk Management. Here you get to check your drive’s health.
Next, click on Disk Management on the left side panel.
From there, check the state of your drives. If it shows that all your partitions are healthy then it means all is good and that the problem may have something to do with some physical issues with your hard drive.
You might also want to run the CHKDSK utility to help you fix any issues with your hard disk. If your hard drive has issues with integrity, the update will really fail as the system will think that it’s not healthy and that’s where the CHKDSK utility comes in. The CHKDSK utility repairs hard drive errors that might be causing the problem.
Open Command Prompt with admin privileges.
After opening Command Prompt, execute the following command and hit Enter:
chkdsk /f /r
Wait for the process to be completed and then restart your computer.
Option 4 – Try to disable Windows Auto Tuning
Disabling Windows Auto-Tuning can also help in increasing the copying or moving of files in your computer. It is said that this feature improves the performance of programs that receive TCP data over a network by adjusting the receive buffer size dynamically throughput and latency of the link. Thus, if you are trying to copy some data over the network, then the Auto Tuning feature is playing a role here. And in some cases, disabling this feature completely resulted in a lot faster copy speeds over the network.
Option 5 – Try changing the USB Removal Policy
First, plug your USB drive or external device into your PC and then open This PC.
Next, right-click on your device and select Properties.
After that, go to the hardware tab and select the storage media that you want to enhance and then click on the Properties button.
From there, you can select the Better performance option if you wish for your device to have a better performance. Once you select this option, it will enable write caching in your Windows 10 computer but you need to use the “Safely Remove Hardware” option from the notification area to safely disconnect the device otherwise it may result in data corruption.
Option 6 – Format your drive
To get started formatting your drive, tap the Win + E keys and then go to the access page of the drive.
Next, right-click on the drive and select Format.
After that, uncheck the “Quick Format” option and then format your drive properly.
Now once the formatting process is finished, unplug the drive and plug it back in afterward.
Check if the error is already fixed. If the drive is not initialized, tap the Win + R keys and hit Enter.
After opening the Run dialog box, type “diskmgmt.msc” and hit Enter to open Disk Management.
From there, right-click on the drive volume and select initialize disk.
Next, select the correct partition type and proceed.
