Microsoft has officially announced details about the newest upgrades to its office 365 suite moving forward along with its new OS release.
It seems that Microsoft has listened to its user base and feedback since Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are getting much-needed redesign taking into account many suggestions from the community.
The new office should feel more like an application suite guiding focus on the interconnection of applications themselves providing users with a much more natural experience of using them.
The new office features so far

“This Office visual refresh is based on feedback from customers who asked for a more natural and consistent experience within and between your applications, specifically on Windows. With this update, we deliver an intuitive, coherent, and familiar user interface, using the Fluent Design principles, across all your applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Access, Project, Publisher, and Visio. We aligned this visual refresh with the design of Windows 11 to provide seamless experiences on your PC.”
It is always refreshing to hear when a company listens to its user base and actually does what is needed instead of trying to invent the wheel.
How to switch
Since beta is already rolling and if you have an active 365 subscription to office suite visual refresh will be automatically available to all Office insiders running beta channel builds. It can be turned on and off using the coming soon feature in the top right corner of the menu in any application.
Just click on the megaphone icon to open the coming soon pane and apply settings to all office apps.
Note that The Coming Soon feature is not available in Access, Project, Publisher, or Visio. If you turn on the visual refresh in any of the 4 apps mentioned above (Work Excel, PowerPoint, or OneNote), it will also be available in these 4 apps.
Difference themselves
The Home tab menu still has a familiar look with a few tweaks. For example, accessing frequently used Word commands will be a lot easier. By navigating to Designer > Show Quick Access Toolbar, users can add a customizable shortcut ribbon to Word that houses conveniently placed options.
Also, the office will not match your Windows operating system color theme so if you have a dark theme enabled, the office will also have a dark color theme.
Color palettes are more neutral, corners are a bit softer but customizable ribbons are a win here for me.
Conclusion
There was not much said other than visual upgrades and small tweaks that were supposed to make your life easier but then again Windows 11 itself is in the same boat.
I am not sure if this is a great update offering just some visual tweaks and focus on workflow mechanics or just being plain lazy and trying to cash in visuals as a completely new product.

Raspberry Pi 4 and things you need for Windows 11 installation
In order to actually install Windows 11 on your Pi, there are certain things that you will need. Check out the below list and prepare everything.
Raspberry Pi 4 4GB or 8GB
A 32GB or larger SSD via a USB 3 caddy. Best for performance or 16GB or larger microSD card
USB boot enabled, see below.
A micro SD card with the latest Raspberry Pi OS
Windows 10 PC
USB to Ethernet or WiFi dongle
Bluetooth dongle (if you want Bluetooth)
Keyboard, mouse, HDMI, and power for your Raspberry Pi
Configuring Pi to boot from SSD
In order to boot from SSD be sure that firmware and bootloader are up to date on the latest version and upgrade if needed. Be aware that this firmware update can only be performed using the official Raspberry Pi OS.
Also if you are eager and want to use a standard microSSD card instead of an SSD to run Windows 11 feel free to skip this entire section.
Boot from microSSD with the latest Raspberry Pi OS on it.
Update firmware and OS using the terminal by typing
sudo apt updatesudo apt full-upgradesudo rpi-update
Reboot your Pi
Install the latest version of bootloader again using the terminal with the command
sudo rpi-eeprom-update -d – a
Reboot Pi
Launch raspi-config on your Pi via terminal with
sudo raspi-config
Select option 3 (Boot options – Configure options for start-up) from boot options
Select Boot ROM version and press ENTER
Select latest and then OK
Select NO when prompted to reset boot ROM to defaults on the latest version boot ROM selected screen. Press OK
Select Boot order and press ENTER
Select USB Boot and click on OK and remove microSD card from Pi

Creating Windows 11 installation image for Pi 4
In order to install Windows 11 on our Pi, we must create an installation image, follow the steps below explaining the process.
Download Windows on Raspberry imager and extract it into the win11 folder
Open Imager and allow it to make changes to your computer, set your language, and click on next
Select storage drive where you would like to install Windows
Set device type and click on next
Select our Windows 11 ISO image we created and click on next
On the drivers screen select Use the latest driver package available on the server
On UEFI firmware select screen choose Use the latest firmware available on the server
On configuration screen click on next
Check your setting on the installation overview and if everything is ok click on install
Wait for the whole process to be finished
Once the process is completed, close Windows on Raspberry imager, take out SSD or microSSD card from PC and connect it on your Pi along with Pi peripherals.
Setting Windows 11 on Pi
In order to actually use Windows 11 on our Raspberry Pi we now have to set up the Windows 11 install using the standard post-installation setup sequence.
Power up Pi and press ESC when prompted
Go to Device manager and press ENTER
Select Raspberry Pi Configuration
Select Advanced configuration
Set Limit RAM to 3GB to a disabled state, press F10 to save, and ESC to exit.
Select Display configuration
Set the resolution to desired option and press ENTER, F10 to save, and ESC to exit
Go to CPU configuration
Check if the CPU clock is set to default, if not set it
Press ESC to go back all the way to the main menu
Select Continue to exit BIOS and boot your Raspberry Pi with Windows 11 on it

Open task manager and under process find rdpclip.exe, right-click on it and end it, then go to windows/system32 and search for rdpclip.exe and double click it. Please note that you will be able to find this process only if you are on a remote PC machine, on a local user machine rdpclip is not running.
Rollback to the previous system restore point
If this particular issue was introduced in the latest update and previous solutions have not worked, roll back to the restore point where everything was working as it should.
Stop virtualization
if you are using virtual software there is a chance that the shared clipboard feature is interfering with Windows, turn the Virtual machine off and try copy & paste again.

How to speed up Windows 11?
1. Disable startup programs
There are many programs that launch right on startup that really aren’t essential. This, in turn, causes your PC to launch and run more slowly.
To check which programs are enabled on startup, go into the Task Manager and select the Startup tab. Find every program that doesn’t need to launch immediately, right-click on it and press ‘Disable’.
This will not shut down the program in that instant. It’ll just prevent it from running automatically as you turn on your PC. You can always launch it manually when you need it.
2. Expand your memory and storage
If you want your PC to run super smoothly, you need to have enough memory to support that. This is especially significant for those of you who love to multitask. Upgrading your RAM gives your PC more space to store the temporary data it needs to complete processing tasks. In other words, processing takes a lot less time.
Your long-term storage is equally important. Hopefully at this point you’re already using SSD over HDD, since this type of storage offers a faster boot time.

In any case, we recommend expanding your storage capacity. The more files and data you store, the more there is to load, significantly influencing your PC’s speed. Larger storage capacity means new data and essential updates can be stored comfortably, preventing any strain on your PC’s performance.
3. Clean up disk space
If you aren’t willing to upgrade your storage just yet, the least you can do is clean up your storage right now.
Aside from manually deleting stuff you no longer need, you can also get rid of temporary files that clutter up your storage and eat up performance for no reason. To get to them, click Windows + X and select ‘Run’ (or just type it in the search bar).
A small window will pop up, where you need to type %temp%. This will take you to a whole folder full of all the temporary files you can remove without thinking twice.
For those who upgraded from Windows 10, there’s a neat trick to get rid of potential leftover files you don’t need on your brand new iteration. Only do this if you’re 100% sticking with Windows 11, though. Go to System > Storage > Temporary files. Make sure to only leave ‘Previous Windows Installation’ and ‘Windows Update Clean-up’ checked and click on ‘Remove files’.

The biggest obstacles to speed are taskbar animations, window shadows, control/element animations and animations upon minimizing/maximizing.

6. Get rid of bloatware
Bloatware is one of the biggest culprits of slow computer speed.

Windows Setup in Continuous Reboot Loop – What is it?
After upgrading to Windows 10 operating system from Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1, a lot of Windows users are complaining about the Windows setup in a continuous reboot loop. The computer would just keep on rebooting every time the machine is booted and this incites frustration for a lot of Windows users.
Solution
Error Causes
When Windows launched the third update for Windows 10, users trying to upgrade to Windows 10 encountered an endless reboot loop problem. The computer will crash repeatedly. The KB3081424, which is a roll-up of bug fixes of Windows 10, continuously fails once you start the update process and then triggers a message showing: “We couldn’t complete the updates, undoing the changes.” The undoing process will then cause a system reboot mandatorily.
Once you log back on your computer again, the Windows 10 update will try to reinstall KB3081424. You will not be able to stop the update which will cause your Windows setup in a continuous reboot loop.
The KB3081424 will not be successfully installed since if it fails for the first time, that initial failure can be detected to create a bad entry in your Windows 10 registry. This will then prevent your subsequent attempts to reinstall KB3081424 to make it work correctly.
Further Information and Manual Repair
In order to fix the problem of Windows 10 setup in a continuous reboot loop, there are a few methods you can try. Try following these simple steps and you’ll be able to get rid of the problem.
Note: If you’re not highly confident to solve this issue on your own, it is highly recommended to consult an authorized computer technician who would be knowledgeable enough to fix the issue for you. In addition, you can also use a system optimizer to resolve the issue.
Method One: Check For Windows Update
Microsoft Windows released an updated fix for the Windows setup in continuous reboot loop problem. You can try fixing the issue through Windows Update.
Open Settings
Go to Update & Security
Select Windows Update then choose Check for updates
At this point, an additional update will be installed and downloaded to your operating system to resolve the continuous reboot loop problem.
Method Two: Eliminate Bad Registry Entry
Before KB3081424 attempts to install again, you can try doing this solution:
Click on the Start menu then type regedit
Once the window opens, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionProfileList
Create a backup for your registry key (since this process is a bit risky). Select ProfileList then click on File and Export then choose your backup name.
From the ProfileList IDs, remove anything with ProfileImagePath in it.
Close Regedit then reboot. By this time, the KB3081424 should properly install.
Method Three: Perform A Startup Repair
Another thing you can try to solve the Windows setup in continuous reboot loop problem is to perform a startup repair from a working computer.
Ensure that all unnecessary devices are disconnected from your computer as your computer might detect them.
If you are connected to a network, you need to disconnect from this as well.
On a working computer, download the Windows 10 ISO then you can perform a startup repair.
Boot your computer from the Windows 10 DVD.
To change your BIOS option to boot from the Windows 10 DVD, follow these steps:
Boot your computer then press the F2 function key to enter setup.
NOTE: You must do this quickly since the BIOS loads rapidly.
Once you’re inside the BIOS, navigate to the Boot Configuration screen. On this screen, you’ll be able to change the first device to be loaded.
Go to Removable Devices then hit Enter. Removable devices could either be a thumb drive or DVD. Select DVD to put it at the top and be the first boot device.
Save your changes by pressing on the F10 function key. A setup confirmation box will appear with a message Save configuration changes and exit now. Select Yes.
Exit BIOS by pressing on the ESC key. You should be prompted to boot from the Windows 10 DVD at this point.

On September 18th, 2017, Cisco’s Talos announced that CCleaner, a popular utility with billions of worldwide users, had been compromised by hackers, and was used to unwittingly distribute hidden malware in its installer. Later in the day, Piriform, the publisher of CCleaner, confirmed the problem.
Undetected by all but 1 major antivirus including CCleaner’s own parent company, this occurred for over a month and impacted over 2.7 million users. Users of CCleaner v5.33.6162 and CCleaner Cloud v1.07.3191 for 32-bit Windows are affected. These downloads were live on CCleaner’s official site from August 15th to September 12th, 2017. Anyone who downloaded the program during this time could be affected.
The company claims that while the hackers set up the backdoor and many users were impacted, that the perpetrators have been arrested and that the malware never successfully performed its full task and compromised user’s PCs or sent out their data; in the wake of recent security breaches such as Equifax, users are understandably worried. Given the severity of the threat of hacking and data theft, users should take action immediately if they have CCleaner.
Technical Details of CCleaner Malware Injection
First reported by Talos, the malware, which was hidden in the CCleaner installer without the publisher noticing (despite them being owned by Avast, a massive Anti-virus company), modified a core program DLL file to evade detection, and creates several registry keys. Not only were these files not flagged by any major Anti-Virus, but they were also even digitally signed by Piriform via their Symantec certificate, meaning your PC and security program would likely whitelist and trust the malicious installer. The malware gathers personal information on a user’s PC, including IP address and running programs, and sends it to a remote server. In our testing, the program sent data to IP 216.126.225.148.
Restore Your PC (If Possible)
As of the publication of this article, there have been no assurances given that updating or even uninstalling CCleaner will remove the malware is installed. The only action thus far has been shutting down the remote server where user data was being sent has been shut down by authorities. For this reason, it is best to remove the underlying malware separately, as its presence represents a serious security threat. Unfortunately, as this could have been installed as far back as August 15th, 2017, your System Restore points may not go back that far, or even if they do, restoring to such an outdated point may cause unintended problems with other programs you use and potentially lost files and data. Manually backing up files and doing a full format or clean Windows installation would likely be successful in fully removing the malware, but is extremely time-consuming and can be difficult for many PC users. Unfortunately, this makes a PC Restore or format an unattainable option for many.
Update CCleaner to the Latest Version
While CCleaner has told users to update to the latest version of the program. Prior to doing so, we recommend fully uninstall CCleaner, ensuring you check its program files folders and registry keys, manually deleting any remnants, and then re-downloading the latest version from the official site and reinstalling clean.
During the Microsoft Windows 10 upgrade, certain users have experienced an issue with error code 8024001F. Users should note that this error is also known as Windows Update 8024001F and 0x8024001F. This error code is relatively common and is usually caused by a faulty internet connection. Thanks to this common reasoning, the error is generally fixed easily, and users are able to restart their Microsoft Windows 10 upgrade.

Windows will then run the Troubleshooter, attempting to detect any known issues with your system.
Depending upon the results you should be able to follow the on-screen prompts which will alleviate the update issue.
Method 2- Correct your internet connections

Attempt to access the internet through your normal browser.
** If you can successfully access the internet, then an internet connection is not the cause for this error code.

Establish an internet connection if possible. If you are unable to establish an internet connection, you may need to contact your internet provider.
If you are able to reestablish an internet connection, then you should have no problem running your Microsoft Windows 10 update.
Method 3- Adjust the Windows Update settings
Log into your current version of Windows as the Administrator (enter a password if prompted).
Click the START button on your keyboard or screen.
Search for the term “admin”, press ENTER
Click the “administrative tools” option
Select the “services” file, re-enter your password.
Open the Windows Update file by right-clicking on the name.
Choose the “properties” option
Under the GENERAL tab, make sure that the “startup type:” is set to AUTOMATIC (DELAYED START)

If you are using the Windows firewall or a third-party anti-virus and firewall software, disable these programs.
Run the Microsoft Windows 10 upgrade.
After the upgrade is complete, turn your antivirus and firewall software back on.
Users should not have a problem employing the above methods. Start with the simplest solutions first, and then work your way to the more intricate methods. In some cases, depending on why this particular error code was caused, you may have to use a powerful automated tool to have it resolved.
Researchers have discovered 16 vulnerabilities in Bluetooth connections that could be exploited and make from minor to some serious damage to your device. The flaw can be used on chips manufactured by Intel, Qualcomm, and Texas Instruments while connecting to external devices like speakers, headphones, keyboards, mice, etc.
Who is affected?
Mentioned chips are used by many in a vast range of devices including big players with their products like Microsoft Surface laptops, Dell desktops, Samsung Phones, Google Pixel, and OnePlus handsets.
The Bluetooth bug affects a wide range of devices, including smartphones, laptops as well as smart home gadgets. In total, more than one billion devices that rely on Bluetooth are believed to be impacted.
What is the damage?
The amount of damage possible with this flaw depends on the type of device with the chipset. Some devices can only be crashed after a specially crafted packet is sent to the flawed chip. If that's the case with your gadget, it can be easily resolved with a simple restart.

Android Bluetooth threat
The researchers emphasize the lack of basic tests in Bluetooth certification to validate the security of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices. The BrakTooth family of vulnerabilities revisits and reasserts this issue in the case of the older, but yet heavily used Bluetooth classic (BR/EDR) protocol implementations.
We would also advise users to disable Bluetooth on devices that do not need it. This way you can prevent attackers from sending you malformed LMP packets. Since BrakTooth is based on the Bluetooth Classic protocol, an adversary would have to be in the radio range of the target to execute the attacks. So, in a safe environment Bluetooth can be enabled.
One of the useful things you can use on your laptop is touchpads. They help users in achieving tasks through the gestures and multi-finger tap or touch support it brings in the scope for various shortcuts. However, not all times touchpad brings productivity as it can also encounter some issue every now and then. One of these issues has been reported on a couple of Lenovo laptops that use touchpad drivers from the Alps Pointing Device. According to the reports, an error saying, “Set user settings to driver failed” when they use the touchpad.
This type of error on the touchpad usually occurs when a computer boots up and it could be caused by a faulty update on the Alps pointing device driver which is being installed in the background. To fix this error on the touchpad, you could try to disable the Alps pointing device entry from the MSConfig or you could try to get the latest version of the driver or uninstall the driver altogether.
