The tabbed File Explorer interface is essentially File Explorer’s version of Sets, the tabbed window interface that Microsoft tested out several years ago. The difference between Sets and the tabbed File Explorer interface is Sets allowed for multiple applications to be clustered together via tabs.

That said, Microsoft has a dedicated and pre-installed app called Connect which helps another device to project their screen on the computer. However, this feature is kind of delicate and won’t work unless it’s properly configured. So if some configuration does not work out well, it will throw an error message that says

• Tap the Win key or click on the Start button located in the Taskbar.
• Then click on the Power button at the bottom right portion of the screen.
