Remove EmailAccountLogin PUP Removal Tutorial

EmailAccountLogin is a browser extension for Google Chrome, Mozilla, and Internet Explorer. This extension enables you one-click access to your favorite email providers, allowing you to easily check your email without typing the web address.

From the author: One-Click Access to quick links to the most popular email providers.

The Email Account Login new tab extension provides convenient, one-click access to several popular email services including Gmail, Yahoo, Facebook, Outlook, and Live mail along with providing direct access to a web search.

EmailAccountLogin is a browser hijacker, this extension hijacks your home page and replaces it with its own search engine. While active this extension monitors your website visits, links, clicks, and personal information. This information is later sold/forwarded to better server ads across its network. While using EmailAccountLogin you will see additional unwanted ads injected into your search results, sponsored links, and even sometimes pop-up ads. Several anti-virus scanners have categorized EmailAccountLogin as a Browser Hijacker and therefore, for security reasons, it is not recommended to keep it on your computer.

About Browser Hijackers

Browser hijack is a very common type of online fraud where your internet browser configuration settings are modified to make it do things you don’t intend. Browser hijacker malware is developed for many different reasons. It redirects you to the sponsored sites and inserts advertisements on the browser that helps its developer generate earnings. It may seem harmless, but most of these sites are not legitimate and could present a significant threat to your online safety. As soon as the program attacks your laptop or computer, it starts to mess things up a whole that slows your PC down to a crawl. In the worst-case scenario, you may be pushed to tackle serious malware threats as well.

Browser hijacking signs and symptoms

Signs that your internet browser is hijacked include: 1. your homepage has been reset to some mysterious webpage 2. when you key in a URL, you find yourself regularly directed to a different webpage than the one you actually meant 3. default web engine is modified 4. you’re getting new toolbars you haven’t witnessed before 5. you notice numerous ads pop up on your browsers or display screen 6. your web browser starts running slowly or displays frequent errors 7. you are blocked to access the websites of computer security solution providers.

How they get into your PC

Browser hijackers may use drive-by downloads or file-sharing networks or perhaps an e-mail attachment in order to reach a targeted computer. Many browser hijackings originate from add-on applications, i.e., toolbars, browser helper objects (BHO), or extensions added to web browsers to provide them additional functionality. A browser hijacker may also come bundled up with some freeware that you inadvertently download to your computer, compromising your internet security. A good example of some notorious browser hijackers includes Anyprotect, Conduit, Babylon, SweetPage, DefaultTab, Delta Search, and RocketTab, but the names are constantly changing. Browser hijacking can bring about severe privacy issues and even identity theft, disrupt your browsing experience by taking control over outbound traffic, considerably slows down your computer by depleting lots of resources and result in system instability also.

How to repair a browser hijack

Certain hijackers can be removed by simply uninstalling the corresponding free software or add-ons from the Add or Remove Programs in the Microsoft Windows control panel. Yet, some hijackers are far harder to find or get rid of as they might get themselves connected with some critical system files which allow it to operate as a necessary operating-system process. Furthermore, manual removal demands you to execute several time-consuming and complex actions which are very difficult to do for novice computer users. Browser hijackers can be effectively removed by installing and running anti-malware software on the affected PC. Safebytes Anti-Malware has a cutting-edge anti-malware engine to help you avoid browser hijacking in the first place, and mop up any existing issues. Along with anti-virus software, a PC optimizer tool will help you repair Windows registry errors, eliminate unwanted toolbars, secure your internet privacy, and improve overall system performance.

Find Out How To Install Safebytes Anti-Malware On An Infected Computer system

All malware is bad and the effects of the damage can vary according to the specific type of malware. Some malware variants modify browser settings by adding a proxy server or change the PC’s DNS configurations. In these cases, you will be unable to visit some or all of the websites, and thus unable to download or install the necessary security software to get rid of the malware. So what should you do if malicious software keeps you from downloading or installing Safebytes Anti-Malware? Follow the instructions below to get rid of malware through alternate methods.

Install the anti-malware in Safe Mode

In Safe Mode, you may adjust Windows settings, un-install or install some software, and eradicate hard-to-delete malware. In the event, the malware is set to load automatically when the PC starts, shifting to this mode may well prevent it from doing so. To start the computer into Safe Mode, hit the “F8” key on the keyboard just before the Windows logo screen comes up; Or right after normal Windows boot up, run MSConfig, look over the Safe Boot under the Boot tab, and then click Apply. After you restart into Safe Mode with Networking, you may download, install, as well as update the anti-malware program from there. At this point, you could run the antivirus scan to eliminate viruses and malware without any interference from another application.

Utilize an alternate internet browser to download security software

Some malware might target vulnerabilities of a specific browser that obstruct the downloading process. When you suspect that your Internet Explorer happens to be hijacked by a virus or otherwise compromised by online hackers, the most effective plan of action is to switch over to a different web browser such as Chrome, Firefox, or Safari to download your chosen computer security software – Safebytes Anti-Malware.

Install and run anti-virus from your flash drive

Another option is to save and run an antivirus software program entirely from a USB drive. Do these simple measures to clear up your affected PC using portable anti-malware. 1) On a virus-free PC, install Safebytes Anti-Malware. 2) Plug the Flash drive into the uninfected computer. 3) Double-click the Setup icon of the antivirus program to run the Installation Wizard. 4) Choose the drive letter of the pen drive as the location when the wizard asks you where you would like to install the anti-virus. Follow activation instructions. 5) Transfer the flash drive from the uninfected computer to the infected computer. 6) Double-click the antivirus software EXE file on the thumb drive. 7) Click on “Scan Now” to run a complete scan on the infected computer for malware. If no other method of downloading and installing an anti-malware program works, then you’ve no other choice than to hit the final resort: a full Windows reinstallation, which can get rid of that nasty virus and help you regain internet access. If you’re unsure which method to use, simply contact our toll-free number 1-844-377-4107 to speak to our technical team. PUP - Driver Pro complete removal guide

Driver Pro Description

DriverPro is a program developed by PC Utilities Pro. This program is often found bundled in other installations.

From the author: PC Utilities Pro is a leading software development company founded in 2009. As a group of young enthusiastic programmers, we constantly strive in creating powerful, yet easy-to-use solutions that would enable even the most basic computer users to keep their PCs running like new.

When installed, DriverPro will add registry entries for the current user that allow it to run each time to computer is started. It will also add a scheduled task in Windows, that allows it to run at various times. The optimizing nature of the application allows it to access any file and information on your computer without your knowledge.

Multiple anti-virus programs have marked this application as a Potentially Unwanted Program, and it is not recommended to keep it on your computer.

About Potentially Unwanted Applications

Have you ever discovered an unwanted program running on your PC and wondered exactly how the heck it got there? A PUA / PUP (potentially unwanted application / potentially unwanted program) is a software program that comes bundled with freeware/shareware and you agree to install on your computer. These are programs you certainly don’t want on your computer since it doesn’t provide any useful service. Despite being regarded very dangerous, PUPs aren’t necessarily computer viruses or malware What makes a PUP different from malware is the fact that whenever you download one, you are doing it with your consent – though in most instances unwittingly and unwillingly. PUPs might not be malware but still, they’re harmful programs to your computer. At best, these unwanted applications provide hardly any benefit, and at worst, they could be quite damaging to your computer.

What do PUPs do on your computer, really?

Most Potentially Unwanted Programs will come in the form of adware, which typically aims to exhibit numerous irritating pop-up ads, banners, coupons, and bargains on websites you go to. PUPs that come as browser add-ons and toolbars are readily identifiable. They’ll track your online activities, redirect your search results to unsafe websites where spyware and adware can be downloaded, hijack your home page, and slow your internet browser down to a crawl. PUPs load up a dangerous bite if kept unchecked. They will often include things like information gathering program code which could gather and send your sensitive information back to 3rd parties. These are programs that don’t really do anything good for you; in addition to occupying space on the hard drive, they also slow down your PC, often alter settings without your authorization, the list of annoying features goes on and on.

Great tips on protecting yourself from unwanted software

• When setting up anything on your computer system, always study the fine print, like the license agreement. Don’t accept terms of use that are for bundled programs. • Only Use the “custom” or “manual” install method – and never blindly click Next, Next, Next. • Use an advert blocker/pop-up blocker; Install anti-malware products such as Safebytes Anti-malware. These software programs could establish a wall between the computer and cybercriminals. • Think twice before you decide to download any type of freeware or shareware. Just before adding a plug-in or web browser extension, think about whether it is really necessary. • Only download programs from the original providers’ websites. Avoid download portals because they use their very own download manager to pack extra programs along with the initial download.

Help! Malware Blocking Anti-virus Installation And Access To The Web

All malware is bad, but certain kinds of malicious software do a lot more damage to your computer than others. Some malware is meant to hinder or block things that you wish to do on your computer. It may well not allow you to download anything from the net or it will stop you from accessing some or all websites, particularly the anti-malware sites. So what you should do if malware prevents you from downloading or installing Safebytes Anti-Malware? Do as instructed below to get rid of the malware in alternate ways.

Get rid of malware in Safe Mode

The Windows operating system has a special mode known as “Safe Mode” where just the bare minimum required programs and services are loaded. In the event, the virus is set to load automatically when the PC starts, shifting to this mode may well prevent it from doing so. To start the computer into Safe Mode, press the “F8” key on the keyboard just before the Windows boot screen appears; Or right after normal Windows boot up, run MSConfig, check the Safe Boot under the Boot tab, and click Apply. After you restart into Safe Mode with Networking, you could download, install, and update the anti-malware program from there. Now, you are able to run the anti-virus scan to eliminate computer viruses and malware without any interference from another malicious application.

Switch to some other internet browser

Web-based viruses could be environment-specific, aiming for a particular internet browser or attacking particular versions of the browser. If you appear to have malware attached to Internet Explorer, then switch over to a different internet browser with built-in safety features, such as Firefox or Chrome, to download your favorite antivirus program – Safebytes.

Run anti-virus from your USB drive

Another way is to download and transfer an anti-malware program from a clean computer to run a scan on the affected system. Adopt these measures to run the anti-malware on the infected computer system. 1) On a clean computer, download and install Safebytes Anti-Malware. 2) Plug the pen drive into the uninfected computer. 3) Run the setup program by double-clicking the executable file of the downloaded application, which has a .exe file format. 4) Select the USB flash drive as the location when the wizard asks you where you intend to install the software. Follow the activation instructions. 5) Remove the flash drive. You may now utilize this portable antivirus on the infected computer. 6) Run the Safebytes Anti-malware directly from the flash drive by double-clicking the icon. 7) Press the “Scan” button to run a full system scan and remove viruses automatically.

Technical Details and Manual Removal (Advanced Users)

To remove Driver Pro manually, navigate to the Add/Remove programs list in the Control Panel and choose the offending program you want to get rid of. For web browser plug-ins, go to your web browser’s Addon/Extension manager and select the add-on you want to remove or disable. You may also want to reset your web browser settings, as well as clear your web browser cache and cookies. Lastly, check your hard disk for all of the following and clean your registry manually to remove leftover application entries after uninstalls. Please note that only professional computer users should try to manually edit the system files mainly because removing any single vital registry entry leads to a major problem or even a computer crash. Also, certain malware is capable of replicating itself or preventing its removal. Carrying out this in Safe Mode is suggested.

How to Fix Windows 10 Error 0xc0000005

Error Code 0xc0000005 - What is it?

Error Code 0xc0000005 can be a frustrating error that occurs when you attempt to use programs within Windows 10. While it is most often associated with Windows 10, this particular error has also made an appearance in previous versions of the Windows operating system. In each case, the error works in the same ways and is generally caused by the same things.

Common symptoms include:
  • Inability to run programs as designed
  • Inability to start programs

While it can be hard to have to deal with an error like Error Code 0xc0000005 on your Windows machine, there are at least three different strategies that you can use to attempt to resolve the problem at hand. If you do not feel like you have the skill or ability to complete these steps on your own, get in touch with a professional who is familiar with the Windows 10 operating system that can assist you. Please note, if this error code is not rectified, you could be exposing your computer to other error messages such as error code 0xC1900101 -0x20017.

Solution

Restoro box imageError Causes

The most common causes of Error Code 0xc0000005 on Windows 10 machines include interference with other programs that are running on the computer, such as antivirus programs, problems encountered within the registry entries made on the operating system, or faulty drivers that cause bad interactions between the system and the program in question.

Fortunately, there are several methods that can be used to resolve these specific issues.

Further Information and Manual Repair

There are three main ways that you can try to resolve Error Code 0xc0000005 on your Windows machine. Depending on your degree of technical ability and confidence, it may be easy to moderately difficult to follow these steps, so if you feel like you are not able to complete the methods below on your own, be sure to get in touch with a qualified computer repair technician to aid you in the process.

Here are the best ways to resolve Error Code 0xc0000005 on your Windows machine:

Method One:  Disable Any Anti-Virus Processes

In some cases, an antivirus program can cause interference with your programs. If you believe that this is the primary culprit of your issue, try temporarily disabling the software that you are running to see if you are then able to use the program that experienced the error correctly.

Always be sure to keep on other security software, such as Windows Defender, while you disable your antivirus programs, ensuring that your computer is still protected from malicious software. In general, this is usually the best security tool that you can run on your computer, without interfering with other programs.

Method Two:  Run a Registry Cleaner

In some cases, the error code can appear when a registry entry is either seen to be missing or faulty by the system. If you believe this is the primary cause of your problem, use a trusted registry cleaning software to scan the files and attempt to automatically fix the problem.

Always be sure to check out the provider of the registry cleaning tool that you use, as not every tool that you can download from the Internet is safe. When possible, always try to use registry tools that are directly available from the Microsoft website, rather than ones that you do a simple search for online.

Once the registry scan is complete, take the time to reboot your computer to ensure that every change that has been made can be recognized and applied by your operating system and devices.

Method Three:  Check Your Drivers

If your drivers aren’t communicating properly with your hardware, it can cause the error code to appear. To fix this, open up your device manager software and choose to update your driver software. You can run an automatic search for updates to your drivers to make things easier.

When the driver updates have been downloaded and installed, make sure that you take the time to reboot your computer, which can allow your computer to apply and recognize any changes that have been made.

Method Four: Use An Automated Tool

If you wish to always have at your disposal a utility tool to fix these Windows 10 and other related issues when they do arise, download and install a powerful automated tool.

Bluetooth flaw, Android and Windows in danger
bluetoothResearchers have discovered 16 vulnerabilities in Bluetooth connections that could be exploited and make from minor to some serious damage to your device. The flaw can be used on chips manufactured by Intel, Qualcomm, and Texas Instruments while connecting to external devices like speakers, headphones, keyboards, mice, etc.

Who is affected?

Mentioned chips are used by many in a vast range of devices including big players with their products like Microsoft Surface laptops, Dell desktops, Samsung Phones, Google Pixel, and OnePlus handsets. The Bluetooth bug affects a wide range of devices, including smartphones, laptops as well as smart home gadgets. In total, more than one billion devices that rely on Bluetooth are believed to be impacted.

What is the damage?

The amount of damage possible with this flaw depends on the type of device with the chipset. Some devices can only be crashed after a specially crafted packet is sent to the flawed chip. If that's the case with your gadget, it can be easily resolved with a simple restart. With other devices, hackers can take advantage of the Bluetooth Classic flaw to remotely run malicious code. That could allow malware to be installed remotely. Researchers say vendors were informed about these issues months ago before the findings were published. The good news is this should have given plenty of time for the relevant patches to be pushed out that remedy the flaws. However, you'll need to make sure that you're running the latest version of the operating system to be protected by the patch crafted by the manufacturers.

Android Bluetooth threat

The researchers emphasize the lack of basic tests in Bluetooth certification to validate the security of Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) devices. The BrakTooth family of vulnerabilities revisits and reasserts this issue in the case of the older, but yet heavily used Bluetooth classic (BR/EDR) protocol implementations. We would also advise users to disable Bluetooth on devices that do not need it. This way you can prevent attackers from sending you malformed LMP packets. Since BrakTooth is based on the Bluetooth Classic protocol, an adversary would have to be in the radio range of the target to execute the attacks. So, in a safe environment Bluetooth can be enabled.

Windows 11 Home edition account requirements
Windows 11 has been officially presented during Microsoft’s virtual event on June 24th. Since presentation internet has been pretty live and busy with a discussion about it, some discussions are positive, some not so much but that is expected and it happens always when a new product is presented. One of information that we have about Windows 11 is tied to the home edition of this OS, Windows 11 home edition will require an internet connection at setup, and a Microsoft account in order to be installed and used. Previous versions of Windows could be installed and used with local accounts but it seems Microsoft has abandoned that idea for its new OS. OS will be delivered mostly as updates or via internet download so internet and online requirement make sense but why it cannot use the local account and must have a Microsoft one is beyond me.

Solution

Restoro box imageError Causes

There can be many reasons for javaw.exe error code on your PC such as:
  • Viral infection
  • Malware attack
  • Invalid registry entries
Ignoring such error messages is not wise. You must resolve it right away as such errors can lead to serious PC threats like system failure and data security threats.

Further Information and Manual Repair

Scan the Javaw.Exe File For Malware

To fix Java Exe error on your system, first you need to find out the cause of the error. Is it triggered by malware or invalid registry entries? The best way to identify the cause is to check your system’s CPU usage. This can be done through assessing the Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del all at the same time. After that, click ‘Processes and locate the javaw.exe file. Remember this file does not require too much memory, so abnormal memory usage is a surefire sign that the java.exe file on your system is a virus. To resolve it, download an antivirus and run it to scan and remove viruses from your PC. However, running an antivirus may slow down your PC performance. On the other hand, if you find the memory usage is fine, then this means the error is not caused by malware but it occurred either due to old version system files on your PC or registry corruption.

Update the Javaw.Exe File

To remove the old version files, go to the start menu. Click Control Panel and then Add/Remove programs. Here find the Java program and uninstall it. Now after the program is completely uninstalled, go to Java’s official website and download the latest version of your desired program. Restart your PC after the installation is successfully complete.

Clean & Repair Registry

If the problem still persists, then the javaw exe error is mostly likely triggered due to registry corruption. The best way to resolve it is to clean and restore the registry. You can do it manually but you may find the manual procedure slightly time-consuming and complex especially you are not a computer programmer. Therefore we recommend you download Restoro.

Internal Error 2771 - What is it?

Internal Error 2771 is an internal error code associated with Kaspersky Internet Security and Antivirus software. This error pops up when Kaspersky Internet Security software fails to install on your PC successfully. Installation of the software is interrupted and therefore it ends prematurely. Solution

Restoro box imageError Causes

This error may result on your computer screen due to several reasons. Some of the most common underlying causes include:
  • A leftover Registry Key
  • Bad entries from previous Security Package
  • INFCACHE.1 file corrupted
  • Conflicts with other security software installed on your system

Further Information and Manual Repair

To successfully overcome this problem and ensure the successful installation of Kaspersky Internet Security software on your system, try the methods given below.

Method 1- Remove the Leftover Registry Key

Sometimes Internal error code 2771 may appear during installation due to the leftover registry key from the previous Kaspersky software removal. A registry key is often created when uninstalling the previous Kaspersky version from the PC. This key is left behind even after you reboot your system. This key is called AVP**_post_ uninstall, you need to delete it to ensure the new version of the Kaspersky program is installed successfully on your PC.  For this, simply go to the start menu and type Regedit in the search bar. Now navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRun and then look here for the registry key called AVP**_post_ uninstall. In order to delete this file, right-click it and then select delete. Once uninstalled, reboot your PC and then try installing the Kaspersky Internet Security program again. Hopefully, this will resolve the issue. If the software installs smoothly, then the error is fixed, in case it still persists, then try other methods illustrated below.

Method 2 - Remove the INFCAHCE.1  Corrupt File

Another reason for the error pop-up may be INFCAHCHE.1 corruption. This file is basically used to store driver information and inf file locations. However, if it contains corrupted information, then you must remove it. To do this, go to the start menu and type cmd into the search bar. This will open a command prompt. Here type del C:\Windows\infinfcache.1. Now reboot your PC and try installing Kaspersky software on again.

Method 3 - Fix Software Conflict

Security software conflict can also result in internal error 2771 code display. And when this happens, the installation of Kaspersky prematurely ends. Security software conflict may occur if you have Comodo Firewall installed on your PC. A firewall is known to cause issues with Kaspersky software programs. The best way to resolve this issue is to uninstall all security software programs on your PC. Once all security software is removed, then install Kaspersky on your system. If the installation is successfully completed, then reinstall the other software again.

Method 4 - Download Restoro

Error 2771 can also result on your computer screen if traces of the previously installed Kaspersky software still remain in the registry despite the program removal. In such an event it is advisable to download Restoro. This is a cutting-edge and user-friendly PC Repair Tool deployed with an intuitive interface and a powerful registry cleaner. Potential issues with DRM and Alder Lake
We are all waiting for the release of Intel’s Alder Lake series of processors and real-world results on its performance. Sadly lately it came to our attention that some games might have issues with the processor. alder lake cpuNow before you go on the bandwagon on bashing Intel itself take note that it is not Intel’s fault at all. The issue that arises is mostly due to DRM software and how it works. As you might know or not, Alder Lake has two sets of cores, standard performance cores, and power cores, and with Intel’s Thread Director on-chip right cores will be used for the right tasks, and here lies the issue. DRM software might detect Thread Director as something suspicious and malicious, and then cut access to the game because of this. Intel, of course, has reached DRM manufacturers and places documentation about how software should be developed with this hybrid technology in mind. Of course, newer games will be updated if needed and everything will work fine, also games on GOG will work fine because of GOG’s policy of no DRM store but some older ones might be left in limbo. They could work fine but DRM might be triggered and prevent them from loading, usually, game developer itself removes DRM protection after some time but that is not really always the case and there is a chance that some games might simply just not work on Alder Lake CPU only because of DRM protection.

Conclusion

I will admit that I have not been a great fan of DRM in general, I understand that game developer want to protect themselves from piracy but how it looks they were not really successful with it. Even today single-player games get pirated on the day they are released and legally bought ones always make trouble for people that actually paid for them. I remember times when DRM was awful and you could install a game a limited number of times, luckily this was removed but it seems that many old habits still remain sadly and DRM is present even today in various forms. GOG is proof that people will buy DRM-free games and that they will support this kind of model. Maybe it is time to forget about fighting against piracy, you will not make it go away and people who do not want to buy games will not buy them, on other hand many users that do buy games, if they cannot use them they will rest to pirated version since that one will work. It is sad to see that pirated software can work better than a legal one and offer a more pleasant experience.
