1. Update the Driver

   You should always try this first, if the device is not recognizable, try updating its driver and see if the problem vanishes. Navigate where the installer is located, right-click on it, and choose properties. Go to compatibility TAB and try installing it with administrator privileges in Windows 8 mode. 2. Verify the Corrupted System Files

6. Perform a System Restore
