What is SYNTP.SYS file? it is a system file created by Synaptics Touchpad drivers that are responsible for all the gestures and tracking users’ touch on the Touchpad. However, what happens when this driver fails? Well, it’s either that your touchpad will partially stop working or it will completely stop working at all. And in such cases, you will encounter the SYNTP.SYS Blue Screen error along with any of the following error codes:

Option 2 – Try reinstalling the Synaptics Driver

You might want to reinstall the Synaptics driver to resolve the SYNTP.SYS Blue Screen error.

• Tap the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
• After that, type “appwiz.cpl” in the field and hit Enter to open the Programs and Features section in the Control Panel.
• Next, you have to look for the “Synatics Point Device driver” and right-click on it, and then click on Uninstall to remove it from your computer.
• Restart your PC and then check for updates under the Windows Update section.

1. Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
2. Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.
3. Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.

• Restart your computer after the scan is completed.

Option 4 – Perform a System Restore

Performing System Restore might help you in fixing the SYNTP.SYS Blue Screen error. You can do this option either by booting into Safe Mode or in System Restore. Option 3 – Try to use the netstat command

• In the Windows Start Search, type “cmd” and from the search results that appear, right-click on Command Prompt and then select the “Run as administrator” option.
• After opening Command Prompt as admin, type this command and hit Enter: netstat –aon
• After that, the output will be displayed and from there, look for the process ID or PID of any program that uses the TCP port 1723 on your computer.
• Next, type this next command and hit Enter: taskkill /PID PID /F
• Once the command has been executed, the concerned program will be forced to close and the TCP port 1723 will be freed up. Keep in mind that the taskkill command ends the process corresponds to the process ID number and the given command above, “/F” option is used to end the program’s process forcefully.
• Now restart your computer and after that, the concerned program should start using a TCP port other than 1723 which leaves the TCP port 1723 free for your internet device to use.

Option 4 – Remove any irrelevant internet device programs

You could also try removing any irrelevant device programs since it is possible that any of these programs could be the one that’s causing the modem to malfunction. These irrelevant programs could be an internet booster or third-party tools that comes with the modem and so on. These programs are not necessarily needed for your modem to function. Option 5 – Update the Network Adapter drivers

You might also want to update the Network Adapter drivers by following these steps:

The Windows 10 system allows users to change the default location of the User folders to another drive. This is probably to make sure that the files stay safe in case the system suddenly crashes. Note: Look close enough and you’ll see that the multi-string values belong to each one of the folders. From there, you have a Desktop, Favorites, Skydrive, Music, Pictures, and many more.

• Step 6: Restart your computer. After that, the operating system will pick up the new folder location during the startup. Here are the values for the other folders:

• Step 7: Now all you have to do is to change the location correctly. Start by tapping the Win + E keys to open the Windows File Explorer.
• Step 8: After that, right-click on the Downloads folder located in the right-hand pane.
• Step 9: Then click on Properties and go to the Location tab then type “D:\Downloads” in the location box.
• Step 10: Click the Apply button and then the OK button to save the changes made. Doing so would ensure that not only the Downloads folder is restored but also that it does not stay merged to another folder or appear as a drive.

This isn’t surprising since Windows Media Player still remains to be one of the best players you can find. However, that does not mean that it is without flaws as it could still encounter some issues from time to time. One of the issues you might encounter when using the Windows Media Player is when you try to burn DVDs or CDs but end up failing due to an error that pops up that says, Windows Media Player cannot detect the length of the file. At the time of writing, it isn’t clear yet what the real cause of the error is. However, there are several fixes that are provided in this post for you to check out so you can resolve the problem. Option 1 – Get rid of the unsupported files from the burning list

Another thing you can check out is to drag and drop all the tracks into the Windows Media Player before you burn them. All you have to do is open the folder where the tracks are located and highlight all of them and then drag them to the Windows Media Player. It should now be able to detect the length of each one of the tracks without any errors.

Option 4 – Try to change the burning speed

Since the burning speed is set to fastest by default, you can try to change the burning speed to resolve the problem. Just open the Options window and then go to the Burn tab. From there, select either Medium or Slow burning speed and save the changes made. Now try to burn your files to the CD or disk once again.

High Efficiency Image File Format (HEIF) is a container format for individual images and image sequences. The standard covers multimedia files that can also include other media streams, such as timed text, audio, and video. A HEIF image using High-Efficiency Video Coding, HEVC, requires only about half the storage space as the equivalent quality JPEG. HEIF also supports animation and is capable of storing more information than an animated GIF or APNG at a small fraction of the size. HEIF files are a special case of the ISO Base Media File Format (ISOBMFF, ISO/IEC 14496-12), first defined in 2001 as a shared part of MP4 and JPEG 2000. Storage of individual images, image properties, and thumbnails.

Image derivations

Derived images enable non-destructive image editing and are created on the fly by the rendering software using editing instructions stored separately in the HEIF file. Image sequences

Now if the value is 2, it indicated that the Current Control Set corresponds to ControlSet002. Now locate the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINETESTControlSetXXXControlSession Manager. XXX is the Current Control Set Value. And delete any pending file rename operation entries. Then click TEST hive and then click Unload Hive. After that again repeat the process, open the registry menu and click load hive, here type the path %systemroot%system32configSoftware to the Software hive of the prior installation and then click open. Now you type TEST 2 when you are prompted for the name of the key. Remove any pending file rename operations entries in the following registry keys: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINETEST2MicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunOnce HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINETEST2MicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionRunOnceEx Now click TEST2 hive and then click unload hive. Quit the Registry Editor and then restart your original installation. This will resolve the stop C000021A error.
