  • Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
  • exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
• Do not close the window if the process takes a while as it will probably take a few minutes to finish.

Option 4 – Try to stop the Runtime Broker process

The RuntimeBroker.exe or the Runtime Broker process is the one that monitors access to Windows APIs to make sure that the apps do not violate the core security of Windows. If the first two options didn’t work, you can try moving the file to a folder with a shorter path. Note that it is not the same as doing it locally on a Windows 10 computer so you have to right-click on the file and select the “Move to” option. 1. Press Windows key + R to invoke the Run dialog.
2. In the Run dialog box, type services.MSC and hit Enter to open Services.
3. In the Services window, scroll and locate the WLAN AutoConfig service.
4. Double-click on the entry to edit its properties.
