If you encounter a Windows Update error with an error code 0x80070652 and an error message saying, “ERROR_INSTALL_ALREADY_RUNNING”, then it indicates that there was a previous Windows Update that was not installed successfully. This kind of Windows Update error typically happens when it gets stuck and so to resolve it, here are some suggestions that might help.
Option 1 – Restart your computer and try installing the Updates again
You can restart your computer and then try installing the updates once again. There are instances when a simple restart resolves Windows Update errors. Thus, after you restart your computer, check for updates once again and see if you’re still getting the error or not.
Option 2 – Try running the Windows Update troubleshooter
You might also want to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter as it could also help in fixing Windows Update error code 0x80070652. To run it, go to Settings and then select Troubleshoot from the options. From there, click on Windows Update and then click the “Run the troubleshooter” button. After that, follow the next on-screen instructions and you should be good to go.
Option 3 – Try downloading the Windows Update that failed
If the Windows Update that has failed is not a feature update and only a cumulative update, you can download the Windows Update and install it manually. But first, you need to find out which update has failed, and to do so, refer to the following steps:
Go to Settings and from there go to Update and Security > View Update History.
Next, check which particular update has failed. Note that Updates that have failed to install will be displayed under the Status column which has a label of “Failed”.
After that, go to the Microsoft Download Center and look for that update using its KB number and once you find it, download and then install it manually.
Note: You can also use the Microsoft Update Catalog, a service from Microsoft that provides a list of software updates that can be distributed over a corporate network. With the help of this service, it can be easier for you to find Microsoft software updates, drivers as well as fixes.
Option 4 – Try to restart the Background Intelligent Transfer Service
The Background Intelligent Transfer Service or BITS is a part of the Windows Update service and is the one that manages the background download of Windows Update, as well as scans for new updates and so on. And if Windows Update is experiencing some problems, you can try restarting BITS but make sure that you have admin privileges to do so.
Tap the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
Next, type “services.msc” in the field and hit Enter to open Windows Services.
From the list of Services, look for the Background Intelligent Transfer Service and double-click on it to open Properties.
After that, you need to set the Startup type to “Automatic (Delayed Start) and click on Apply.
Now click the Stop button to stop BITS and then click the Start button to restart the service.
Click OK to save the changes made and then restart your PC.
Option 5 – Try to update Windows after a couple of minutes or an hour
There are times when the issue is from Microsoft’s end. It could be that there’s some issue with Microsoft’s server so it would be better if you give it a couple of minutes or an hour or so before trying to run Windows Update again.
As you know, USB is now being widely used in all devices with USB A as the leading type with most devices based on it. Peripheral devices such as Pen Drives, External Hard disks, and many more also use a USB port. On the other hand, USB C is also coming up to be the next big standard in the computing world because of its high transfer speeds, wider compatibility as well as support for external Graphics Processing Units. However, just recently, USB 3.0 ports have been reported to cause the following error to pop up on Windows 10 computers every time a USB device is plugged in.
“Not enough USB controller resources. The controller does not have enough resources for this device.”
To fix this error, here are some guidelines you can check out. Make sure to follow them carefully.
Option 1 – Try to use a lower generation USB port
The first thing you can do is to try using a lower generation USB port as this issue mostly occurs when a device is connected to a USB 3,0 port. This means that you have to plug in your device to a USB 2.0 port and then see if it fixes the error or not. You can easily decipher a USB 3.0 port from a USB 2.0 port as the former is in blue.
Option 2 – Try to use a dock
You could also try to use a dock to resolve the error. Note that when too much power on laptops and notebooks are drawn from the USB ports and as a USB 3.0 port draws more power compared to a USB 2.0 port. Thus, if you plug in your USB storage device into a USB 2.0 port with the help of a dock, it should fix the problem.
Option 3 – Try disabling the xHCI Mode option in the BIOS
First, boot your computer into the BIOS.
Once your computer has booted, go to the Advanced tab.
Next, make sure that the entry for “xHCI Pre-boot mode” is set to Disabled under the USB Configuration section.
Now save the changes you’ve made and then restart your computer to Windows 10 and see if the error is now fixed.
Option 4 – Update or reinstall the Universal Serial Bus Controller driver
Since it could be a driver issue, you can try to update or reinstall the Universal Serial Bus Controller drivers using the Device Manager. Refer to the following steps:
First, click the Start button and type “device manager”.
Then click on the “Device Manager” from the search results to open it.
From there, look for the “Universal Serial Bus controllers” option and then right click on each one of the USB drivers, especially the Generic USB Hub driver, and then select the Update Driver from the menu.
Restart your PC and then click the “Search automatically for updated driver software” option.
Note: If updating the USB Controller drivers didn’t work, you can try to reinstall them instead.
Option 5 – Run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter
You could also run the Hardware and device Troubleshooter to try and fix the “Not enough USB controller resources” error.
The first thing you need to do is click on Start and then on the gear-like icon to pull up the window for Settings.
After opening Settings, look for the Update and Security option and select it.
From there, go to the Troubleshoot option located on the left-hand side of the list.
Next, select Hardware and Devices from the list and open the Troubleshooter and run it. Once it is doing its job, wait for it to complete the process and then restart the system.
After the system restarts, check if the problem’s now fixed. If not, refer to the next option given below.
Runtime Error 216 is not a common error message like Runtime Error 339. However, it may sometimes occur when starting up the computer if you are using a Windows-based application or using Internet Explorer.

The runtime error 216 error occurs when your computer gets infected with one or more viruses.
The most common virus, in this case, is the SubSeven Trojan virus. Once your computer gets infected with a virus(es) it creates a backdoor on your Windows system. This might give hackers access to monitor your PC remotely.
This poses a great risk to confidential information and personal data stored on your PC. The hackers can easily monitor your PC, access your private information and misuse it.

If you experience this error message, it is advisable to repair it immediately without any delays; Runtime Error 216 can make your system vulnerable.
Here’s what you must do:
First things first, disconnect the internet connection so that the hacker can’t access your PC.
Now perform a boot scan through a powerful antivirus. The antivirus will scan your system for viruses. After the scan is complete, all the disinfected files will appear in the scan report results. You are advised to delete them and click repair to fix the error.
Remember the antivirus will not scan infected Windows Registry entries, therefore to remove SubSeven.exe Windows Registry entries go to the start menu and type REGEDIT in the search box.
Click on REGEDIT and select Run as Administrator. Now type the following registry path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESoftware. This will help locate SubSeven.exe infected files. Once located, delete all of them and close Windows Registry Editor.
To ensure your computer is completely free from SubSeven Trojan Virus and other possible viruses, it is advisable to remove all the recently installed programs and downloaded applications.
This is recommended because sometimes while downloading programs, we tend to download corrupted programs which include viruses. It’s, therefore, best to delete all the programs you’ve installed recently.

What is DISM Error 1726? Every time you encounter some issues in your Windows 10 computer, especially when it comes to corrupted system files, you can always use the SFC scan and if the SFC can isn’t able to resolve the issue, there is also the DISM tool you can use which usually resolve the vast majority of system file corruption sufficiently. However, there are times when even the DISM commands experience issues as well. Such is the case with the 1726 error: “The remote procedure call failed”.
Some users reported that this DISM problem happens right before the process is supposed to end. According to experts, this error in DISM occurs due to any of the following reasons:
A third-party program might have interrupted the DISM operation and is the one that triggered the 1726 error: “The remote procedure call failed”.
The error could also pop up when there is a pending corruption repair. This usually happens when you tried to run a DISM command previously that was terminated manually or was halted because of some malfunction.
Lastly, the error could also occur because the process that’s responsible for the procedure is disabled or was prevented from running.
Whichever the case is, here are some suggestions that might help you in resolving the 1726 error: “The remote procedure call failed”.
Option 1 – Try updating your PC to the latest Windows build available
Since the problem is specific to certain builds in Windows 10, you need to make sure that your computer is updated before you try other troubleshooting steps. Thus, follow the steps below to update your Windows 10 PC.
Tap the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
Then type “ms-settings:windowsupdate” in the field and hit Enter to open the Windows Update screen.
After that, click on Check for Updates and then follow the next on-screen instructions to apply the latest Windows update.
Once the update has been installed, restart your PC and run the DISM command again and see if the problem is fixed.
Option 2 – Try to change the Startup Type of the Remote Procedure Call service
As stated early on, the error might also be caused by a disabled Remote Procedure Call service or RPC or that it might be prevented from running for some reason.
In case you don’t know, RPC is the service control manager for both COM and DCOM servers and it’s responsible for performing object variation requests, exporting resolution as well as distributing collection for the servers. And so if the server is disabled, all programs that are using COM and DCOM including the DISM commands, will not function correctly. Thus, you need to make sure that the RPC service is scheduled to enable itself on every system boot. To do so, here’s what you have to do:
Tap the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
Type “services.msc” in the field and hit Enter to open Services.
From there, scroll down until you see the Remote Procedure Call (RPC) service and then right-click on it and select Properties.
Then go to the General tab and change the drop-down menu next to Startup type to Automatic.
After that, click the Apply button and then OK to apply the changes made.
Restart your PC and run the DISM command once again at the next startup.
Option 3 – Try to modify the RpcSs registry key value
If the option didn’t work, you can also try enabling the RPC service using the Registry Editor. Before you proceed, make sure to create a System Restore point first and then follow the steps below afterward.
Tap the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
Type “Regedit” in the field and hit Enter or click OK to open the Registry Editor. And if a User Account Control prompt appears, just click on Yes.
After that, navigate to this registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SYSTEM CurrentControlSet Services RpcSs
After selecting the aforementioned registry key, go to the right pane and double-click on the Start value.
Next, change the Value data of start to 2 and click OK to save the changes made.
Exit the Registry Editor and restart your PC and check if the 1726 error in DISM has already been resolved or not.
Option 4 – Try to disable the Windows Search service temporarily
Some users also recommended disabling the Windows Search service for the meantime as it could be the one that’s interrupting the DISM process.
Tap the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
In the field, type “services.msc” to open the Services window again and hit Enter to open it.
Next, scroll down over the services list and double-click on the Windows Update service.
Afterward, go to Windows Search properties and click the General tab and then click the Stop button to stop the service from running temporarily.
Now try running the DISM commands again and see if the problem’s fixed or not.
Restart the Windows Search service and then restart your PC as well.
As you know, the NVIDIA Control Panel is the central control panel for all devices that run the graphics drivers manufactured by NVIDIA. This control panel comes bundled with the drive package itself which is why there is no need for users to download it or update it separately. However, recently, some users reported that when they tried to make changes to the configuration in the NVIDIA Control Panel, they were unable to do so and encountered an error message instead saying, “Access denied. Failed to apply selected settings to your system”. If you also got the same error message, then you’ve come to the right place as this post will walk you through fixing this error in the NVIDIA Control Panel.
There are several suggestions given in this article to fix the error. You can try to run the file named “nvcplui.exe” as an administrator or restore the most recent version of the folder where the aforementioned file is located. You could also try to restart NVIDIA’s process or restart the NVIDIA Display driver service or update the NVIDIA drivers in your computer. For more details, refer to each one of the options given below.
Option 1 – Try running the nvcplui.exe file as an administrator
Tap the Win + E keys to open File Explorer and navigate to this path: C:/Program Files/NVIDIA Corporation/Control Panel/Client
After that, look for the exe file and right-click on it, and then select the Run as administrator option.
Next, select Yes if a User Account Control or UAC prompt appears.
Option 2 – Try to restore the most recent version of the folder
The next thing you can do to fix the error is to restore the most recent version of the folder where the nvcplui.exe file is located. Keep in mind that this option is tricky so you have to be careful.
Tap the Win + E keys to open File Explorer.
Next, navigate to this path: C:/ProgramData/NVIDIA DRS
From there, right-click on the DRS folder and select Properties.
After that, go to the Previous Versions, System Protection, or System Restore tab in the Properties window.
Now restore the most recent version of the contents inside that folder. This will revert the old working configuration of DRS.
Option 3: Restart the process of the NVIDIA Control Panel
Tap the Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys to open the Task Manager.
After opening the Task Manager, look for the process named NVIDIA Control Panel Application.
Once you found it, expand it and right-click on the NVIDIA Control Panel sub-process, and click on End Task.
Now try opening the NVIDIA Control Panel from the Start Menu and see if it now works fine or not.
Option 4: Restart the NVIDIA Display Driver Service
Tap the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
Then type “services.msc” in the field and hit Enter to open the Windows Services Manager.
After opening the Services window, you will see a list of services. From there, look for services named “NVIDIA Display Container LS” and double click on it to open its Properties.
Now make sure that the service is Started. If it isn’t, you need to start it, otherwise, you need to Stop it and Start It again. You also have to make sure that the Startup Type is set to Automatic.
Do the same for the NVIDIA LocalSystem Container service.
Restart your computer and check if the problem’s fixed.
Option 5– Try updating the drivers from the official site of NVIDIA
If both the first and second given options didn’t work, you can also try updating the drivers from the official NVIDIA website. And in case you don’t know the type of Nvidia graphics card that your computer is on, follow the steps below:
Tap the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
Next type in “dxdiag” in the field and click OK or hit Enter to open the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.
From there, you can see what type of Nvidia graphics card that your system is on.
Take note of your graphics card information and then look for the best drivers for your operating system. Once you’ve downloaded and installed the file, restart your PC.

A black screen error inside Windows 11 is a typical screen turning to solid black without any error message. Restart graphic driver
This is the first thing to check if the issue is due to software or driver malfunctioning, there is a shortcut for rebooting graphic driver inside Windows 11. Press WINDOWS + CTRL + SHIFT + B to reboot the graphic driver and see if this fixes the issue. A beep sound should be heard during this process and the screen should turn back to normal.
Check connections
Sometimes the screen can go black due to a faulty connection or cable. If you have it at your hand try a different cable or slightly and gently nudge the existing one to see will screen flicker. You should find the option for Bluetooth on your right-hand side – click on it then click on the “Run the troubleshooter” option.
Now follow the next screen options.
Option 2 – Try to reinstall or update the Bluetooth driver
The issue might have something to do with the Bluetooth drivers. It could be that it is outdated and needs to be updated or that you recently updated it and since then you have trouble removing the Bluetooth devices and so to fix the issue, you can update, roll back or uninstall the Bluetooth drivers. How? Follow the steps below.
Tap the Win + X keys to open the Device Manager.
Next, look for the Bluetooth device and right-click on it.
Select the option “Update driver”.
After that, a new popup window will appear. In there, select the option, “Search automatically for updated driver software”.

Option 3 – Configure the Bluetooth Services

Tap the Win + R key combination to open the Run dialog box.
After that, type “services.msc” in the field and hit Enter to open the Windows Services Manager.
You will then see a list of services and from there, look for the following services and make sure that their default values are set as follows:
Bluetooth Handsfree Service – Manual (Triggered)
Bluetooth Audio Gateway Service – Manual (Triggered)
Bluetooth Support Service – Manual (Triggered)
Bluetooth User Support Service – Manual (Triggered)
Now click on the Start button to start all the aforementioned services and then check if you can now see the option to turn Bluetooth on or on.
I often switch between my desktop speakers and headphones and because of this I very often use the volume adjustment bar to adjust sound levels so it is not too loud and each time when I set it I get annoying BEEP at the end. Now personally this might not bother you and you might want to leave it since it can be a useful feature to tell you how much volume is loud but if you are adjusting multiple times volume during the say it can become really frustrating to hear it each time, especially when switching to headphones and it beeps into your ears.

After Plex, DoorDash, and LastPass, Samsung has also confirmed that they also have experienced a data breach and that some customer data has been stolen.
On Friday, September 2nd Samsung announced that an unauthorized third party gained access to some of the company's U.S. systems in late July and that Samsung learned in August that some personal information was affected. It was also stated that affected information is: names, contact information, demographics, dates of birth, and product registration information. Also so far it was said that no Social Security numbers nor credit card number information have been compromised.
For now, Samsung is sending an email directly to anyone that has been affected by this data breach, however, they did not state what service or product has experienced this breach, we just know that it has happened at Samsung Electronics America which sells everything, from smartphones to debit cards. Also keep an eye on your inbox if you are a Samsung user since it took them a whole month in order to go public with this information and there is no justification for this, if it was reported on time people could change their information and take other steps.
