Now the issues that have been reported with it are that Windows 11 can have issues with it resulting in the microphone not being recognized by the operating system. Check cables

Sometimes it is not a software problem at all. First thing is to check if by any chance cable of the mic is disconnected, damaged, or similar. If the cable seems fine next step is to plug in the mic into another port in order to eliminate faulty jack on the computer. If nothing happened the last thing to try is to connect the mic to another computer so we can be sure that the mic itself is in working order so we can focus on software. Set Blue Yeti as a default device

Go down to the input section and pick Blue Yeti beside Choose device for speaking or recording.

Update driver

More often than not device not working is tied to malfunctioning or a bad driver. In order to eliminate and resolve this issue right click on the Start icon and choose device manager. Inside device manager expand the Sound, video and game controllers section. Right-click on each device in the section and choose update driver. In order to check privacy settings press ⊞ WINDOWS + I to open Windows settings and go to Privacy & Security on the left panel and click on it. On the right panel click on the microphone. Make sure that toggle next to Let apps access your microphone is ON.

If you aren’t able to pull up any website and instead got the ERR QUIC PROTOCOL ERROR error message in Google Chrome then read on as this post will help you resolve the problem. When you encounter such an error in Chrome, you will see the following error message:

“This site can’t be reached, The webpage at [website URL] might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address, ERR_QUIC_PROTOCOL_ERROR”

This kind of error message pops up when the URL is down. However, if you are certain that the site is not down and you’re still seeing this error message, then troubleshoot further using the suggestions given below.

Option 1 – Try to disable the QUIC Protocol

QUIC is an experimental transport layer network protocol that is present in Google Chrome in order to establish a connection between two endpoints over UDP. So if there is any problem on the development side, you will most likely encounter ERR_QUIC_PROTOCOL_ERROR on your Google Chrome browser when you try to open any website. Thus, you have to disable the QUIC protocol in order to resolve the error. How? Simply follow the steps below.

• Open your Google Chrome browser.
• Now type in “chrome://flags/” in the address bar and hit Enter.
• After that, look for the Experimental QUIC protocol which should be set by default.
• Then expand the drop-down menu and select Disable.
• Restart Google Chrome and see if the error is fixed or not.

Option 2 – Disable VPN

As mentioned, if you are using VPN, this could be the reason why you’re getting the Windows Update error 0x800F0922 so the most obvious thing to do is for you to turn off the VPN and try to run the Windows Update once more. And if you use a VPN software that works using their software, you can just completely exit or log-off from its account. On the other hand, if you are using a built-in Windows 10 VPN, you can simply turn it off or delete all the settings you have created there. Although it’s understandable that you might have to use a VPN connection to connect to the work network, you really have to disable it at least until the Windows Update is no longer stuck in the error 0x800F0922. It would be best if you do this when you are not working.

Option 3 – Disable the Proxy server

You can also try to disable the Proxy server to fix the ERR_QUIC_PROTOCOL_ERROR in Chrome. Refer to these steps to do so:

• Tap the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
• Then type “inetcpl.cpl” in the field and hit Enter to pull up the Internet Properties.
• After that, go to the Connections tab and select the LAN settings.
• From there. Uncheck the “Use a Proxy Server” option for your LAN and then make sure that the “Automatically detect settings” option is checked.
• Now click the OK and the Apply buttons.
• Restart your PC.

Note: If you are using a third-party proxy service, you have to disable it.

Any modifications in a computer, either big ones or small ones can definitely trigger some errors which is why you have to be careful when you modify the system setting. One of the errors you might encounter when you’ve modified your computer is the WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR 0x00000124 Blue Screen Error. Option 3 – Check your computer’s cooling components and make sure that they are working

It is a known fact that an overheated PC causes system slowdowns and even Blue Screen errors like WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR 0x00000124. To fix it, you need to check your computer’s cooling components to see whether they’re properly working or not. Then make sure that you clean them up including the fan and other hardware from dust and other debris.

Option 4 – Use the Windows Memory Diagnostics

Since the problem has something to do with the physical RAM, you need to use Windows Memory Diagnostics. To run it, refer to these steps:

• Tap the Win + R keys to open Run and type exe and hit Enter to open the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool.
• After that, it will give two options such as:
  • Restart now and check for problems (Recommended)
  • Check for problems the next time I start my computer
• Once your computer has restarted, perform a basic scan or you could also go for the “Advanced” options such as “Test mix” or “Pass count”. Simply tap the F10 key to start the test.

Note: After you select the option, your PC will restart and check for memory-based issues. If it finds any issues, it will automatically fix them.

Option 5 – Update or rollback or disable concerned device drivers

To fix the WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR 0x00000124 error, you can also try to roll back, or update, or disable the concerned device drivers.

• Open the Devices Manager from the Win X Menu.
• Then locate the device drivers particularly the ones that are under the sections of Keyboard, Mouse, USB, and HID Drivers.
• Next, right-click on them to open the Properties.
• After that, switch to the Driver tab and click on the Uninstall Device button.
• Follow the screen option to completely uninstall it.
• Finally, restart your computer. It will just reinstall the device drivers automatically.

Note: You can install a dedicated driver on your computer in case you have it or you could also look for it directly from the website of the manufacturer. On the other hand, if you have just updated your device drivers then you need to roll back the drivers to their previous versions or disable them.

Option 6 – Try running System File Checker or SFC scan

You could also run System File Checker or SFC scan to fix the BSOD error. It is a built-in command utility that helps in restoring corrupted files as well as missing files. It replaces bad and corrupted system files with good system files. To run the SFC command, follow the steps given below.

• Tap Win + R to launch Run.
• Type in cmd in the field and tap Enter.
• After opening Command Prompt, type in sfc /scannow

The command will start a system scan which will take a few whiles before it finishes. Once it’s done, you could get the following results:

1. Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
2. Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.
3. Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.

• Reboot your PC.

Option 7 – Try to disable the Digital Driver Signature Enforcement

• Reboot your computer from the Start menu.
• Then select the option while pressing the Shift key. This will open the Advanced Boot menu.
• From there, click on Troubleshoot and select Startup Settings.
• Now select the “Disable driver signature enforcement” option using the arrow keys on your keyboard and then restart your computer normally.

JavaScript Void 0 Error - What is it?

JavaScript is a computer programming language used to make a website work smoothly with the internet. It helps to display visual effects, animations, and other web page functions. You may come across the JavaScript Void (0) error message when there is a problem in loading JavaScript from a web page or the internet browser.

Error Causes

JavaScript Void (0) error is triggered by multiple reasons such as:

• It can be due to a simple random Windows application glitch.
• You are visiting an unsafe website that contains malware
• JavaScript’s web browser implementation  is broken due to poor program installation
• Active X controls, Java applets, and active scripting, the key components of JavaScript are disabled
• Registry issues like invalid or misconfigured registry keys

For JavaScript Void (0) error-free web surfing, it is advisable to repair the issue without any delays. Let’s take a look at different methods to resolve this error on your system.

Cause: Simple Random Glitch

Solution: If the cause for the JavaScript Void 0 error is a simple glitch, then it is advisable to restart your system and then run the program again.

Cause: JavaScript’s web browser implementation is broken

Solution: If you experience the JavaScript Void 0 error message after the installation of the new browser on your system, then poor installation of the program or program conflict is most likely to be the deep-rooted cause of this error code. To resolve it, uninstall the program and undo the recent changes.

Cause: Active X controls, Java applets, and active scripting, the key components of JavaScript are disabled

Solution: You should know that components including Active X controls, Java applets, and active scripting are all essential to JavaScript in order to make your browsers run properly. Cause:  Registry Issues

Solution: If after performing all the solutions discussed above, you still come across JavaScript Void (0) error code, then you should know that the problem is bigger than what you expected. It triggers registry issues. Either the cause of the error is misconfigured or invalid registry keys. To reconfigure the registry keys setting may be a challenging task and complex if you are not a computer programmer.

This post will guide you in fixing the “Communication with service process failed” error in Windows 10. This error is related to the Intel Driver and Support Assistant application. Intel has taken a bold step and combined its older modules into this new application (Intel Driver and Support Assistant) recently. This application enables users to scan their computers for any available updates from Intel. This is the main application of Intel and provides users a way to update their driver software automatically instead of manually updating it. However, with the recent reports submitted by some users, it seems that something is wrong with this application, and users to have to deal with the “Communication with service process failed” error. This error might be caused by several reasons, for one, it could be that the application is corrupted or incomplete in its nature which is possible since this is still a developing and newly released app. It could also be that there are other utilities or modules that conflict with the Intel software. Whichever the reason may be, you can try out the options given below to resolve the problem but before you proceed, make sure that you have an administrator account as well as an active and stable internet connection.

Option 1 – Disable DSATray in Startup

If you receive this error message every time you start your computer then this means that the application is not able to launch properly. Like pointed out, it could be that it is still incomplete in nature or it conflicts with other applications. Thus, you can try to disable the service from the startup and check if it fixes the problem.

• Tap the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
• Then type “taskmgr” in the field and hit Enter to open the Task Manager.

• In the search box, type in “control” and then click on Control Panel (desktop app) among the search results.
• After that, select Programs and Features from the list which will give you a list of all the programs installed on your computer.
• From there, look for Intel Driver and Support Assistant and select it and then uninstall it.
• After you have the app uninstalled, open your browser and go to Intel’s official website. From there, download the driver utility manually.
• Once the download is finished, right-click on it and select “Run as administrator” and install the app on your PC with elevated access.
• Restart your PC and then check if the error is now fixed.

If you are trying to open a folder or run a program or delete a file but you encounter an error message instead saying, “Error (740), The requested operation requires elevation” on your Windows 10 computer, then this post should help. Make sure that you follow each one of the options given below carefully.

Option 1 – Always run the program as an administrator

There are some apps that require administrator privilege before they can be opened. So if you are got the “Error (740), The requested operation requires elevation” error when you try to open a particular app on your computer, you have to try opening it as administrator instead. On the other hand, if you are already using an administrator account or if you are a member of the administrator group, this option may not work for you so just proceed to the next one but if you’re only using a regular account, then follow these steps:

• First, right-click on the app you are trying to open and select Properties.
• After that, go to the Compatibility tab and check the checkbox labeled “Run this program as an administrator”.
• Next, click the Apply and OK buttons and see if the app opens without any problem.

Option 2 – Try to change the folder permissions

If you encounter Error 740 while opening a folder, then you need to try changing the folder permissions.

• First, right-click on the folder and click Properties.
• Next, go to the Security tab and click the Advanced button.
• After that, check the checkbox labeled, “Replace all child object permission entries with inheritable permission entries from this object” and then click the Apply and OK buttons to save the changes made.

Option 3 – Try disabling UAC

The User Account Control or UAC settings might be the one that’s responsible for Error 740 which is why you have to disable the User Account Control and then verify if it’s the one that triggers the error or not. To do that, simply search for “Change user account control settings” in the Taskbar search box and then drag the blue bar down to the bottom and click the OK button to save the change made.

Option 4 – Select the Elevate without prompting option in the Group Policy Editor

There is an option in the Group Policy Editor which allows you to disable the UAC prompt. Disabling the “Elevate without prompting” option can help in resolving Error 740 and to disable it, follow the steps below.

• Tap the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
• Then type “gpedit.msc” in the field and hit Enter to open the Group Policy Editor.
• Next, navigate to the following path:

Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Local Policies > Security Options

• From there, go to the Security Options folder where you can find a policy named “User Account Control: Behavior of the elevation prompt for administrators in Admin Approval Mode”. Double click on it to open its options.
• Now select the Elevate without prompting option from the drop-down menu and click OK.

The store is not downloading Apps: As you know, the Windows Store is one of the places where you can download Windows apps. However, there are times when you might not be able to do so for some reason. For instance, if you search for an app and click on the get it now button, instead of downloading the app, nothing happens and there are also cases when the download will start but the page will refresh after half a second. When this issue happens, you won’t be seeing any error message or warning at all. So you’ll just have to look at the download get started where the page will refresh and you’ll be back at the Get button. This issue in the Windows 10 Store only happens for a few apps so even though you are able to download some apps, you might be able to do on other ones. Note that the apps affected are random and there is no specific set of apps that cause this issue while downloading and that this problem will repeat again each time you click on the Get it now button. This issue is definitely caused by Windows itself and has something to do with a bug in the Windows store which was brought by the latest Windows Update. It’s already a known issue among other Windows 10 users who are also suffering the same dilemma. So until Microsoft releases another update to fix this bug, you will have no choice but to deal with it in the meantime. On the other hand, you can also try a couple of suggestions laid out in this post. Follow the steps in every option given below to fix the issue with the Windows 10 Store.

Option 1 – Try signing out from the Microsoft Store

A lot of Windows 10 users were able to resolve the problem by simply signing out and signing back into the Microsoft Store. How? Follow these steps:

• Go to the Microsoft Store.
• Next, go to the Get page of the app you were trying to download.
• And then click on your account picture located in the top right corner of the window and select your account.
• Sign out from your account and after that, click the Get button to download the app.
• After that, a new window will appear where you’ll have to select your account and click on Continue.
• Now enter your credentials. Once you do, the app should be downloaded automatically after you’re signed in. And that’s about it.

Note: Keep in mind that this option is merely a temporary solution to the problem and once you close the Microsoft Store and open it back again, you will be back to square one.

Option 2 – Wait for the Windows Update

As mentioned, this is already a known issue and a lot of Windows 10 users have already complained about it to Microsoft so a bug fix will be soon released in the latest Windows Updates.

Upgrading your Windows computer may not always go as expected as you could end up getting some error messages along the way. One of the error messages you can encounter is the “STOP 0XC000021A or STATUS_SYSTEM_PROCESS_TERMINATED” error. This error indicates that is some security issue within the Windows operating system. It could be that the system files have an issue and they have been modified incorrectly. Although this does not necessarily mean that malware is behind the modification, one of the applications you installed recently might have something to do with the problem. The application might have modified or corrupted some of the core system files. When you encounter this error, you will see a blue screen along with the following error message:

“Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We’re just collecting some error info, and then we’ll restart for you. (0% complete) If you’d like to know more, you can search online later for this error: 0xc000021a”

This error pops up when a user-mode subsystem like the WinLogon or the Client Server Run-Time Subsystem or CSRSS has been compromised fatally and security can no longer be guaranteed in the system. Thus, the operating system switches to kernel mode, and Windows won’t be able to run without the WinLogon or the Client Server Run-Time Subsystem. This is why it’s one of the few cases where the failure of a user-mode service can shut down the system. To resolve the issue, here are some fixes that might help.

Option 1 – Uninstall programs you installed lately

• In the search box, type in “control” and then click on Control Panel (desktop app) among the search results.
• After that, select Programs and Features from the list which will give you a list of all the programs installed on your computer.
• From there, look for the concerned program and select it and then uninstall it.

Note: If you have downloaded the app from the Windows Store, you can simply right-click on it from the application list and then uninstall it.

Option 2 – Perform System Restore

Performing System Restore can also help you fix the “STOP 0XC000021A or STATUS_SYSTEM_PROCESS_TERMINATED” error. You can do this option either by booting into Safe Mode or in System Restore. If you are already in the Advanced Startup Options, just directly select System Restore and proceed with the next steps. And if you have just booted your PC into Safe Mode, refer to the steps below.

• Tap the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
• After that, type in “sysdm.cpl” in the field and tap Enter.
• Next, go to the System Protection tab then click the System Restore button. This will open a new window where you have to select your preferred System Restore point.
• After that, follow the on-screen instructions to finish the process and then restart your computer and check if the problem is fixed or not.

Option 3 – Run the System File Checker or SFC scan

Rebuilding the BCD can help you in fixing the “STOP 0XC000021A or STATUS_SYSTEM_PROCESS_TERMINATED” error.

• You can start by booting into the installation environment for Windows 10 from an installation media.
• After that, click on Repair your computer and on the blue screen, select Troubleshoot and then select the Advanced options menu.
• Next, select Command Prompt and type in the commands below one by one, and tap Enter right after you do so.
• exe /FixMbr
• exe /FixBoot
  • exe /RebuildBcd

The commands you entered should rebuild the BCD and repair MBR.

Option 5 – Run the CHKDSK utility

You can also run the Chkdsk utility to resolve the problem. If your hard drive has issues with integrity, the update will really fail as the system will think that it’s not healthy and that’s where the Chkdsk utility comes in. The Chkdsk utility repairs hard drive errors that might be causing the problem.

• Open Command Prompt with admin privileges.
• After opening Command Prompt, execute the commands listed below, and don’t forget to hit Enter right after you type in each one of them.
• chkntfs /t
• chkntfs /t:10

Today we will be focusing on small Windows tricks that could prove very useful in everyday workflow and hopefully make your life easier by implementing them in your daily routine. I am very excited to share this with you all and I hope that you will use them from now on. That being said let us begin.

Tip 1: Minimize all open windows except one.

Daily to the daily routine can involve many opened windows on a desktop and sometimes things can get messy, if you want to minimize all windows to the taskbar except one do this: Click on one window thus selecting him, click and hold the left mouse button on that windows title bar, now shake it up and down and all other windows will escape down to taskbar leaving only one you are shaking on the desktop.

Tip 2: Open the Secret Windows menu.

Through our tutorials on various errors and fixes, we have used this method already but here it is again since it is worth mentioning. If you want to open the command prompt easy and fast, or device manager, event viewer, shut down, etc. In order to open this secret menu all you need to do is press ⊞ WINDOWS + X.

Tip 3: Create an Event without opening the calendar application.

You can easily create an event without opening a calendar application, all you have to do is left-click on the clock in the taskbar, click once on a date for the event, and under calendar in event field type event description. The event will show in the calendar application like it was entered there.

Tip 4: Taking a screenshot.

This one is my favorite and it speeds up workflow very very much. Typically you take screenshots by pressing the PrntScr button on your keyboard. Now, the problem with this approach is that the screen is placed in computer memory, in the clipboard and you will need another picture processing application in order to save it. Now if you would press ⊞ WINDOWS + PrntScr, the picture would be automatically saved in your pictures/screenshots folder. And if that is not enough, you can press ⊞ WINDOWS + S + SHIFT to start Snip & Sketch tool and select the area which you would like to screen capture, this method will also place pictures in the clipboard.

Tip 5: Open pinned applications in your taskbar with your keyboard.

We have covered this one in our Windows keyboard shortcuts tips and tricks here, but if you missed that article here is the tip again. By pressing ⊞ WINDOWS + number 1,2,3...0 you will start the application from your taskbar counted from left to right.

Tip 6: Check how much Hard drive space installed applications are taking.

Applications and temporary files grow over time and can slow the system and cause some other unpleasant experiences. Go to Settings > System > Storage, click on the Hard drive on which you have installed applications, and see how much each one is taking, you can remove it from this screen also freeing some space.

Tip 7: Remove ads from the START menu.

Windows has so-called suggestions in the START menu, no matter how Microsoft is calling them, let's face it, they are ads and in my opinion, they do not belong in my START menu. To turn them off, go to Settings > Personalization > Start. Toggle the setting called Show suggestions occasionally in Start to the off position.

Tip 8: Shut down background applications.

Some applications are running in the back and are taking system resources and can send telemetry information, if you want to turn them all off go to Settings > Privacy > Background apps. To stop all apps from running in the background, toggle Let apps run in the background to off. You can choose which apps to run in the background individually by going down the list on the same page.

Tip 9: Use Background scrolling.

Did you know that you can scroll on inactive windows? To do this, just hover over the inactive background window and roll your mouse when the content of the window should be scrolling even if it's not one you are working on. If by any chance this is not happening, go to Settings > Devices > Mouse, and toggle Scroll inactive windows when I hover over them to On.

Tip 10: Show file extensions in File Explorer.

By default extensions of files are hidden, so let's say that for example, you are in a folder with pictures, you have plenty of pictures there but you do not know are they JPG or JPEG for example, do not worry there is an easy fix to bring showing extensions back. Start File Explorer, click on view top menu item, click on options, Uncheck the box that says Hide extensions for known file types. Click Apply, and OK.

Tip 11: Use focus assist.

Set it up by going to Settings > System > Focus assist. Choose from three options: Off (get all notifications from your apps and contacts), Priority (see only selected notifications from a priority list that you customize, and send the rest to your action center), and Alarms only (hide all notifications, except for alarms). You can also choose to automatically turn this feature on during certain hours, or when you're playing a game.

To remove the virtual desktops, just go back into task view and delete the individual virtual desktops, this will not close out the apps contained within that desktop, but rather just send them to the next lower desktop.

Blizzard is one of the most beloved game company which brought some of the most and greatest titles in PC gaming. Blizzard has released its own launcher in which you can launch games, sadly sometimes launcher does not want to work and fails to connect. If this happens to you be sure to:

1. Reset your network devices to make sure your router hasn't become flooded with data.

   Power cycling your modem and router allows them to reset and re-establish a connection to your ISP. Follow these steps to completely power cycle the devices in your network connection:Note: If your modem has a battery backup, you will need to take the battery out or use the reset button on the modem.

   1. Shut down all computers connected to the modem/router.
   2. Power down and unplug the modem and the router if you're using one.
   3. Allow to sit for 60 seconds unplugged.
   4. Plug in and turn on the modem and router, and allow them to completely boot up until the front panel connection lights on the modem show a steady connection.
   5. Start the computer and allow it to completely boot up.

2. If you're using a wireless connection, optimize your internet connection to rule out a connection issue.

   If you're experiencing issues with your low-speed or wireless internet connection, follow the steps below to troubleshoot the problem.

   1. Try plugging your computer directly into your modem.
   2. Shut down other programs that access the internet, such as other games or download programs.
   3. Satellite, mobile phone, and WiMax internet connections are not stable connections and may cause further connection issues when playing Blizzard games. If possible, consider switching to a more stable connection.

3. Update your drivers and operating system to resolve any compatibility issues.

   Out-of-date drivers and operating systems can cause a variety of issues and are one of the first things to check when a game is having problems. The instructions below will help you check and update your drivers.

   • Even new computers can have out-of-date drivers and operating systems because updates are released routinely.
   • Some games and programs might run fine on a system with old drivers, but outdated drivers can still create technical issues with specific games or programs.

4. Release and renew your IP and flush your DNS to resolve any network conflicts.

   1. While on the desktop, press Windows Key and type CMD.
   2. Right-click Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
   3. Type ipconfig /release in the command prompt.
   4. Wait a few seconds for a reply that the IP address has been released.
   5. Type ipconfig /renew in the command prompt.
   6. Wait a few seconds for a reply that the IP address has been re-established.
   7. Type ipconfig /flushdns in the command prompt.
   8. Close the command prompt and attempt to make a connection.

5. Close all other applications to resolve software conflicts and free up resources.

   Before trying the steps below, close unnecessary programs and restart your computer. Identify Problematic Startup Items

   1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager.
   2. Click More Details.
   3. Select the Startup tab.
   4. Right-click on each item and select Disable.
   5. Restart the computer.

   If this resolves the issue, enable the startup application one at a time to determine which one is causing the problem. You will need to restart between each application you enable. Note: To re-enable startup applications, follow steps 1-4 and select Enable.

6. Delete the Battle.net Tools folder to automatically rebuild outdated or corrupt files.

   1. Close Blizzard processes.
      1. Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to bring up the Task Manager.
      2. Click the Processes tab.
      3. Select all Agent, Blizzard Battle.net desktop app, and game processes, and click End Process.
   2. Navigate to the folder containing the Battle.net directory:
      1. Press Windows Key + R to open the Run dialogue.
      2. Type C:\ProgramData\ into the Open field and press Enter.
   3. Delete the Battle.net folder.
   4. Run Battle.net and update the game to see if the issue persists.

   If the error persists after you try these steps, another program may be causing the problem. Restart your computer and delete the Battle.net folder one more time.

   Note: The above steps may cause the Blizzard Battle.net desktop app to forget game install locations. If your games can’t be found, you will see Install on the Blizzard Battle.net desktop app game tab instead of Play. To find your installation, click Locate this game or run the game launcher.
