But, in many cases, the system is running low on resources which is why this error pops up and blocks a sign-in of a new user. To fix it, you can try to log out the existing users, or perform a Cold Boot, as well as run both the DISM tool and System File Checker scan.
Option 1 - Try to logout existing users
The first thing you can do is to log out the existing users. If you have a shared Windows 10 computer, you have to check if someone hasn’t logged out. It could be that some background task or there is an existing program that is still running under that account. So you have to make sure to ask the same user to log out in case there is some unsaved work. On the other hand, if that user is not around, then you reboot the computer right away.
Option 2 - Try Performing a Cold Boot

To perform a Cold Boot, just press and hold the physical power button on your CPU until it goes off. After that, boot your computer regularly and see if you can now log into your account without any error.
Option 3 - Try to run a System File Checker scan
System File Checker is a built-in command utility in Windows that helps in restoring corrupted files as well as missing files. It replaces bad and corrupted system files to good system files that might be the cause why you’re getting the error when you log into your computer. To run the SFC command, follow the steps given below.
Boot your computer into the Advanced Recovery mode and from there open Command Prompt.
After opening Command Prompt, type in sfc /scannow
The command will start a system scan which will take a few whiles before it finishes. Once it’s done, you could get the following results:
Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations.
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files and successfully repaired them.
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
Now restart your computer and see if the problem is fixed or not.
Option 4 - run the dism tool
You might also want to run the DISM tool. This tool is known to repair potentially corrupted files in your system as having them could also system issues like the “Your computer is running low on resources, so no new users can sign in” error. To repair these corrupted system files, you can run the DISM commands:
Go to the Advanced Recovery mode and select Command Prompt.
After that, input each one of the commands listed below sequentially to execute them:
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
Once you’ve executed the commands given above, restart your computer and check if the problem is now fixed.
Error Code 0x8007232B (Code 0x8007232B) – What is it?
Error code 0x8007232B (Code 0x8007232B) is an error that occurs when you attempt to activate Windows Server 2008 or Windows Vista.
Common symptoms include:
Attempting to activate Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows Server 2012 and you receive an error message.
The error message says: “Windows could not be activated. Key management services host could not be located in domain name system, please have your system administrator verify that a KMS is published correctly in DNS”
The error message says “The directory name, file name, or volume label syntax is incorrect”.
Error Causes
Error Code 0x8007232B occurs when you attempt to use media that is volume licensed to install: Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista Enterprise, Windows Vista Business, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2.
This error code also occurs when the activation wizard is unable to connect to a Key Management Service host computer.
Further Information and Manual Repair
Error code 0x8007232B can be seen when you are trying to activate windows, on several different operating systems. This problem can usually be easily corrected, but in the event that it can't, please contact a computer repair technician. When you try to install any of the previously mentioned Windows products, they use a generic product key to install the volume-based license software. If you do have a KMS host computer configuration and see these error codes, that means the correct DNS entries are not being seen on the computer. If there is not a KMS host computer setup, you need to do this setup, otherwise switch to a MAK product key method, and activate the volume license installation that way.
Method One:
Using a Multiple Activation Key as opposed to KMS activation
Click the Start icon, click on All Programs, click on Accessories, right-click on Command prompt.
Click on “Run as administrator”. Type in the password or provide confirmation if prompted for administrator password or confirmation.
When asked for the command prompt, enter in the following and then hit the Enter buuton: slmgr -ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx Note: this placeholder represents the MAK product key.
Method Two:
Configure a KMS host server for the clients to activate against.
A KMS host server needs to be configured for the clients to activate against. When there are no KMS host servers configured near you, install and activate a KMS server key. After this, configure a computer on the network to host this KMS software and publish the Domain Name System (DNS) settings.
Method Three:
When the client cannot locate a KMS host on the network for activation:
1. Verify that your computer has the KMS host installed and activated by using a KMS key that is registered in DNS. You will follow these steps to do that:
Click the Start button, click on All Programs, click Accessories, and then right-click on Command Prompt.
Click on Run as Administrator. Type the password or provide confirmation if you are asked for an administrator password or for confirmation.
In the command prompt box, type the following command and press ENTER: nslookup -type=all _vlmcs.tcp>kms.txt
Then open the KMS.txt file generated by this command. The file will contain at least one entry that relays the SRV service location.
2. A KMS host server registers a DNS SRV record once every 24 hours by default. You should check the registry to see if the KMS host server is registering with the DNS. Follow these steps to do so:
Click on Start, type in regedit, and then press Enter.
Locate HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsNTCurrentVersionSL and then click on it.
The KMS server does not register in DNS if the DisableDnsPublishing subkey is existing and has a value of 1. If this subkey is missing altogether, create a DWORD value called the DisableDnsPublishing. If the dynamic registration is suitable, the subkey value should be changed to 0. Right-click DisableDnsPublishing, click on Modify, enter 0 into the Value data box, and click OK.
There are a lot of online services and a lot of ways to get your public IP address. One of them being typing whats my IP in Google search and you will get immediate results. But there is a way to get the same information inside Windows 10 which could be very useful if for any reason you can not connect to mentioned services. By checking public IP directly inside your windows you can make sure that the issue for not being able to open some websites is not due to your public IP.
In order to use this Windows feature, we will be checking our public IP using Windows PowerShell.
To open Power Shell in Windows first press ⊞ WINDOWS + R to open the run dialog
Inside run dialog type Powershell and press ENTER

As you know, Diskpart is a useful utility that helps in managing the disks in a computer. It is a very useful tool that even when the GUI-based disk management tools in Windows 10 operating system fails, the Diskpart utility still tends to work. However, it also does not mean that this utility does not experience issues as it still does, from time to time. One of the issues you may encounter when using the Diskpart utility is when you encounter an error message that says, “DiskPart has encountered an error, Access is denied”.

Thus, you can try to run the Diskpart utility again but this time with admin privileges or you could also remote the Write-Protection from the concerned drive. Option 1 – Try running Command Prompt with Administrator-level permissions
In the Start Search, type “command prompt” and from the search results that appear, look for Command Prompt.
Once you found it, right-click on it and select the “Run as administrator” option.
After that, try to execute the Diskpart operation once again and see if you still encounter the same error.
Option 2 – Try to remove the Write Protection from the drive
As mentioned, removing the Write-Protection on the concerned drive could also help you fix the problem and there are two ways to get rid of the write protection – you can either use the Diskpart utility or the Registry Editor. How? Refer to the following steps.
Via Diskpart utility:
Open Command Prompt with admin privileges and then type the “diskpart” command and tap Enter to execute it.
Next, type “list disk” and tap Enter to get the list of all the Disk connects or all the partitions that are formed on those disks.
After that, you need to choose one command depending on the list of commands you entered. Type “select disk #” and tap Enter to select the disk or partition you want to select.
Then type “attribute disk clear readonly” and tap Enter to Disable the Write Protection on the selected disk or partition.
Via Registry Editor:
Tap the Win + R keys to open the Run utility and type “Regedit” in the field and then tap Enter to open the Registry Editor.

Option 1 – Disable the C-states and EIST in the BIOS
The first thing you can do is try to disable the C-states and EIST in the BIOS. To do that, refer to the steps given below.
Go to the BIOS and from there look for an option named CPU Configuration which can usually be found under the Advanced menu.
Next, look for CPU Power Management and under that section, disable both the “Intel EIST” and “Intel C-state” options.
After you disable them, save the changes you’ve made and exit the BIOS.
Now restart your computer and check if the ntkrnlmp.exe BSOD error is now fixed.
Option 2 – Try to update, rollback or disable drivers

Option 4 – Run the Blue Screen Troubleshooter
The Blue Screen troubleshooter is a built-in tool in Windows 10 that helps users in fixing BSOD errors like ntkrnlmp.exe. It can be found on the Settings Troubleshooters page. To use it, refer to these steps:

Then type in “TdrDelay” as the name and hit Enter.
After that, double click on TdrDelay and add “10” as its value and click OK. This will set the response time for your GPU to be 10 seconds.
64-bit Windows:
Select the QWORD (64-bit) value.
Next, type in “TdrDelay” as the name and hit Enter.
Double click on TdrDelay and type in “10” as its value data and click OK.
Restart your computer to apply the changes made.
Option 6 – Disable the Sleep Functionality
