• From there, look for Intel Rapid Storage Technology and uninstall it.

Option 2 – Try to disable the IAStorDataSvc via Services Manager

• Tap the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
• Then type “services.msc” in the field and hit Enter to open Services.
• Next, look for the Intel Rapid Storage Technology services from the list of services and then double-click it.
• Then change its Startup type to “Disabled”.
• After that click on the Apply button and then OK to save the changes made.
• Now exit the Services window and check if the problem’s resolved.

New Start menu

Widget tab makes comeback in Windows 11

Yes, widgets are back but not like you remember them. Instead of being all-time present at your desktop like once they used to be, now there is a button on the taskbar which brings the widget bar up that contains desired widgets. Two monitor systems are not such a rarity like they were just a couple of years ago. More and more people are finding out the benefits of having 2 screens instead of one no matter if you play games or do serious work. So how technology has moved forward and new norms so have Windows and we can now set different wallpapers to different screens very easy, a task which was very difficult in the past.

1. Go to the Personalization option in the Control Panel.
2. Right-click on your home screen and select the Personalize option from the menu.
3. In the new window, you can browse for images you wish to set as wallpaper on both of your monitors. This way, the images would be preloaded in the “Choose your picture” option.
4. Right-click on the image. Doing this will open a new menu that will allow you to set wallpapers for each screen. There is also another option called “Choose a fit” which gives you the option to select the fit of the wallpaper.
5. Choose one wallpaper for “monitor 1” and a different wallpaper for “monitor 2.” You will now see your dual-screen setup customized with two different wallpapers.

Default applications in previous Windows versions were a pretty straightforward process. As in previous versions of the Windows operating system you will need to use the settings application in order to change your default Internet browser. Previously, in Windows 10, a variety of general categories like email, web browser, and photo viewer were all listed under the Default Apps section of the Settings panel. It was easy to click on one of those categories and click on the option you like best from the small pop-up suggestion window. In the Windows 11 Insider Build, you’ll see a gauche list of an individual file or link types that you’ll need to specify your preferred browser for. The types include: HTM, HTML, PDF, SHTML, SVG, WEBP, SHT, FTP, HTTP, and HTTPS. There are additional optional types you can specify your preferred browser for as well. The issue here is in order to use a single browser which most users do you will have to go through each file type and set your preferred one. I am really not sure why this was introduced or why it has to be this way, all I can do is hope that in the final release of Windows 11 this feature will be rolled back as it used to be and that you could set your default browser in just one simple click.
