• Finally, exit the Group Policy Editor and then restart your computer to apply the changes made successfully.

To update your BIOS, restart your computer and press F2 to enter setup.  Now go to SATA Operation and change RAID AHCI to RAID ATA. Save changes and then exit. By doing so, you can update your BIOS and fix the error 0x0000007E immediately. It’s that easy!
