IT has become my code editor of choice simply for reasons that there is really not much it cannot do and it is constantly updated and taken care of. You can really tune it to look and feels how you want with extensions and you really cannot beat the free price tag. I would highly recommend this editor for daily use especially since its biggest competitors like Atom and sublime text have not seen many updates lately.
