How to Disable Restart in Firefox

Driver state power failure error can be linked to three things happening in your computer. Incorrect power settings, driver issues, or incompatible hardware. Sadly when this error happens you only receive a blue screen of death with this message: Sadly receiving this blue screen does not really explain which of the three cases is the correct one and causing the unwanted issue. If there is, update the driver or remove the driver of the device to see if this fixes the issue. If all of the previous two things fail there is another thing you could try. Turn off your computer and disconnect all hardware except the most basic one. Now, this may take a long period of time but boot your computer and then repeat this process but each time add a new piece of hardware to eliminate and find which one is causing the issue. When found try to see if it is repairable through driver updates or get a new device.

Windows photo viewer was a popular photo viewing application integrated into Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 but in Windows 10 it has been replaced with photos, Microsoft's new application aimed at photo viewing on your desktop. Now if any one of you wonders why should be bringing the old application back to Windows 10 since we have an alternative one, the answer would be resources and speed. The old photo viewer application is lightweight, fast, and reliable, opening the same photo in both photo viewer and in new photos shows us that Microsofts new viewer application takes even three times more RAM, and it's visibly slower in loading times for pictures. Since I am a person who prefers speed and functionality over fancy looks I would be very glad to have the option to bring back a photo viewer. If you have by any chance Windows 10 as an upgrade, bringing back photo viewer is easy as 1,2,3. you just need to open settings and go to default apps, under photo viewer you should see your current default viewing application, probably photos, click on it to see options and choose photo viewer and exit the Settings menu, and you're done. Sadly if Windows 10 has been installed clean on the system and not as upgrade things are a little bit more complicated but do not worry, stay with us, keep reading and you will get there.

Activating photo viewer

• In the Game Bar overlay screen, look for the “Capture” window.
• If you don’t see it, click the Widget menu icon on the left. It looks like several lines with bullet points to their left.
• A drop-down list will appear; click “Capture.” The “Capture” shortcut may also be in the Game Bar toolbar.
• Look for the “Capture” widget window in the overlay. There are four buttons on the Capture widget (from left to right):
  • Screenshot: Takes a screenshot of the active window.
  • Record last 30 seconds: Creates a recording of the previous 30 seconds.
  • Start recording: Starts recording your active window.
  • Turn on the mic while recording: If this option is enabled, Windows 10 will capture audio from your computer’s microphone and include it in the recording.

To completely turn off Snap layout in Windows 11 follow these steps

1. Open Windows 11 settings by pressing ⊞ Windows + I
2. Select System on the left part of the screen
3. In System options select Multitasking
4. At the top of Multitasking Click on the switch next to Snap Windows
5. Close settings

Changes will be automatically applied and you will no longer have Snap layout functionality.

If you like the snap Layouts feature but are not very fond of the layout graphic that is popping up each time you hover over Minimize/Maximize button do not worry, there is an option to turn just that off and keep the feature itself.

1. Open Windows 11 settings by pressing ⊞ Windows + I
2. Select System on the left part of the screen
3. In System options select Multitasking
4. Click on the Snap Windows menu
5. Deactivate Show Snap Layouts When I Hover over a Window’s Maximize button
6. Close settings

Now you will be able to use the Snap Layout feature without layout graphics showing. If you want to reverse any of these options and go back to standard-setting, just follow the steps and turn features ON.
