You might also want to run the DISM tool. This tool is known to repair potentially corrupted files in your system as having them could also system issues like the “Your computer is running low on resources, so no new users can sign in” error. • Go to the Advanced Recovery mode and select Command Prompt.

  • Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

  • Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

As you know, aside from making computing a lot easier, mouse and touchpad, it also makes computing more efficient and less time-consuming. And so life is unimaginable without these useful devices. However, it is a known fact that you can’t customize these devices since all touchpads and mice come with their own default scrolling direction but worry not for in this post you will be guided on how you can reverse their default scrolling directions. Step 8: From this folder, you have to start matching the values in the first part of the value you’ve taken note of. Step 9: Open the folder which has the same value and repeat this for the second part of the value. Step 10: Afterwards, click on the Device Parameters and look for a property named “FlipFlopWheel” and invert its value from 0 to 1 or 1 to 0 to reverse the scrolling direction. And then restart your PC to apply the changes made. After you restart your PC, you should see the changes in the scrolling direction of your mouse. Note that you can change the value back to its original value or just use the registry backup to undo the changes you’ve made.

Why Can’t drag and drop files or folders happens? • Tap the Win + R keys to launch the Run utility and type “Regedit” in the field and then tap Enter to open the Registry Editor.
• Next, navigate to this registry key: HKEY_CURRENT_USERControl PanelDesktop
• From there, choose to modify both the “DragHeight” and “DragWidth” located on the right pane.
• After that, change the value to a very high number. Note that these values are nothing but pixel size to drag and drop folders or files.

Option 4 – Try disabling the User Account Control or UAC via Registry Editor

• Tap the Win + R keys to launch the Run utility and type “Regedit” in the field and then tap Enter to open the Registry Editor.
• After that, navigate to this registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesSystem
• From this path, modify the value of “EnableLUA” from 1 to 0. This should disable the UAC in your Windows 10 computer.

There are times when you might notice that the Drive letter from the File Explorer is missing, right after you install an update in your Windows 10 computer. In case you don’t know, a drive letter represents a single alphabetic character which is through A-Z typically. • You need to click on “Add” to assign a letter to the selected drive in order to reverse the change. Note that you must assign the drive with the original letter because if not, the programs that rely on the original letter might not work as expected.
• If the original letter is already taken by a new drive, you need to change the letter of that new drive to another available letter.
• Then allocate the released letter of the targeted drive.

Option 3 – Try assigning the letter using a Registry tweak

The next thing you can do to fix the problem is to assign the letter using a tweak in the Windows Registry but before you do that, make sure that you create a System Restore point first, after that, follow these steps:

• Tap the Win + R keys to open Run and type “Regedit” in the field and then tap Enter to open the Registry Editor.
• Next, navigate to this registry path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESYSTEMMountedDevices
• From there, check if a device is shown as being mounted at the specific drive letter and then right-click on that drive letter.
• Select the “Rename” option from the right-click menu to change the letter to any other available letter.
• Exit the Registry Editor and restart your computer.

Option 4 – Try to format the destination drive

Formatting the drive can also help you resolve the error. To format it, follow these steps:

• To get started formatting your drive, tap the Win + E keys and then go to the access page of the drive.
• Next, right-click on the drive and select Format.
• After that, uncheck the “Quick Format” option and then format your drive properly.
• Now once the formatting process is finished, unplug the drive and plug it back in afterward.

The steam Family sharing feature

The family Sharing feature inside Steam will let you share your games to another account so owners of that account can play games that you have purchased without the need to buy themselves. You can allow up to 5 accounts and 10 devices to play your library games, and owners of these accounts will have their own achievements. Be aware that enabling this option will place your entire library on the share, you will not be able to choose which games you would like to share and therefore any kind of parental controls are not applying here. How to Share Your Game Library

After they have successfully logged in, log them out and re-log with your account again. Now go again into Steam > Family and now you should see an account in the box at the bottom with the user name or your friend or relative. Confirm that this is an account that you wish to share the library with by clicking on the checkbox next to the name. Users, when upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 7 or Windows 8/8.1, or when upgrading to a new version, build, service pack, or major update of Windows 10, can encounter error code 0xC1900101, 0x30018. Windows 10 installation fails and stops or hangs. 3. Rename the Catroot2 and SoftwareDistribution In order to do this, Type or Copy and Paste the following commands one at a time:

                        ren

C:WindowsSoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old

                          ren

C:WindowsSystem32catroot2 Catroot2.old

4. Restart the BITS, Cryptographic, MSI Installer, and the Windows Update Services. In order to do this, Type or Copy and Paste the following commands one at a time:

net start wuauserv

net start cryptSvc

net start bits

net start msiserver

5. Type Exit in the Command Prompt then close the Command Prompt window then restart the computer.
