• In the Start Search, type “command prompt” and from the search results that appear, right-click on Command Prompt and then select the “Run as administrator” to open it with admin privileges.
• If a User Account Control or UAC prompt pops up, just click on Yes.

Note: You have the option to set “SkepAsSource” since it depends on your needs using the Netsh command. When it is configured as true, the IP address won’t be used by the OS for outbound connections.

Error Code 0x8007007B (Code 0x8007007B) – What is it?

Error code 0x8007007B (Code 0x8007007B) is an error that occurs when you attempt to activate Windows 10, as well as Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, or Windows Server 2012.

6. Enter this key in the space provided.

8. Restart your computer now.
9. Check for activation. The Error code should be gone now.

Method Three:

1. Open the Command Prompt with access as administrator just as in Method One, and enter the following command: sfc /scannow
2. The command will complete the tasks. This will take some time so just let the computer do its thing and work. Let the sfc finish the scan.
3. When the scan is complete, restart the computer.
4. Check for the activation. The error code should be gone at this point.
5. If it is gone, revisit Method One or move on the Method Four.

Method Four:

Call the Microsoft Support Team and explain the problem in as much detail as you can give. Give the team the error code 0x8007007B and ask to have a different product key. • You need to click on “Add” to assign a letter to the selected drive in order to reverse the change. Note that you must assign the drive with the original letter because if not, the programs that rely on the original letter might not work as expected.
• If the original letter is already taken by a new drive, you need to change the letter of that new drive to another available letter.
• Then allocate the released letter of the targeted drive.

The next thing you can do to fix the problem is to assign the letter using a tweak in the Windows Registry but before you do that, make sure that you create a System Restore point first, after that, follow these steps:

• Tap the Win + R keys to open Run and type “Regedit” in the field and then tap Enter to open the Registry Editor.

• From there, check if a device is shown as being mounted at the specific drive letter and then right-click on that drive letter.

• Tap the Win + R keys to open Run and type mdsched.exe and hit Enter to open the Windows Memory Diagnostic Tool.
• After that, it will give two options such as:
  • Restart now and check for problems (Recommended)
  • Check for problems the next time I start my computer
• Once your computer has restarted, perform a basic scan or you could also go for the “Advanced” options such as “Test mix” or “Pass count”. Simply tap the F10 key to start the test.

Note: After you select your preferred option, your computer will restart and check for memory-based issues. If it finds any issues, it will automatically fix them and if there’s no issue found, then it’s most likely not a memory-based issue so you should try the other options given below.

Option 6 – Replace your motherboard

If your computer is still under warranty, you should consider replacing your computer’s motherboard in case the options given above failed to work in fixing the Blue Screen error.

There are times when you upgrade or install Windows 10 on an old computer and the Aspect Ratio of the screen is in a mess. This issue occurs when a new Windows version does not support the GPU or the driver does not work in Windows 10. And in such cases, Windows uses a generic driver which does not support all the resolution as well as the correct aspect ratio. You might also want to run the Program Compatibility Troubleshooter. This built-in troubleshooter is available in the Windows Update & Security section. From there, select Troubleshoot. This will find a list of programs for you and since you have already downloaded the driver files, just click on Not Listed located at the top of the program list. After that, browse and select the driver files and then let the program do its job.

Option 3 – Update or rollback your device drivers

If the first option didn’t work for you, then it’s time to either update or roll back the device drivers. It is most likely that after you updated your Windows computer that your driver also needs a refresh. On the other hand, if you have just updated your device drivers then you need to roll back the drivers to their previous versions. Whichever applies to you, refer to the steps below.

• Open the Devices Manager from the Win X Menu.
• Then locate the device drivers and right-click on them to open the Properties.
• After that, switch to the Driver tab and click on the Uninstall Device button.
• Follow the screen option to completely uninstall it.
• Finally, restart your computer. It will just reinstall the device drivers automatically.

Note: You can install a dedicated driver on your computer in case you have it or you could also look for it directly from the website of the manufacturer.

In case you don’t know, Windows 10 comes with a native ability to project to another screen, be it wireless or wired. All it takes to do that is by tapping the Win + P key combination to display options to manage the extended display. • Next, select Hardware and Devices from the list and open the Troubleshooter and run it. Once it is doing its job, wait for it to complete the process and then restart the system.
• After the system restarts, check if the problem’s now fixed. If not, refer to the next option given below.

Option 3 – Try to update or reinstall the display adapters

You might also want to update the drivers for Display adapters and Monitors or you might also have to update or reinstall your NVIDIA driver if you’re using one. To update or reinstall the display adapters, follow these steps:

• Tap the Win + R keys to open the Run dialog box and then type in MSC and tap Enter or click OK to open the Device Manager.
• Expand the section for Display Adapters.
• And then select the Display Driver and right-click on it.
• From the drop-down menu, select the Update Driver option and follow the on-screen instructions to install the latest version of the Display Driver.
• Restart your PC after the installation.

If you find that updating the drivers does not help, you can try to reinstall them. How? Simply follow the steps below.

• Tap the Win + X keys and select the Device Manager.
• After that, look for the affected driver in the Device Manager window. And if you see a yellow exclamation mark beside it, right-click on it and select the option “Rollback” to roll back the driver.
• And if the Rollback option is not available, just select Uninstall and then restart your PC.
• Finally, open the Devices Manager once again and select the option “Scan for hardware changes” to install the driver.

Option 4 – Consider replacing the graphics card

You might also want to consider replacing the graphics card of your computer to resolve the problem if the options provided above didn’t work.
